Overall a disappointment. Splendid vieuws! Entrance frito was a nice surprise seafood with vegetables and surprising lemon and orange 30 euros for two but was enough for 5. But the bouillabaisse 48 euros per person for over cooked fish is unacceptable! The waiter was making us uncomfortable because he was running around stressful in a full house restaurant.

Fresh fish, delicious wine, great mussels to start, osso bucco is tender, service is excellent, view is the best in Cassis port! Absolutely loved it.

What a fabulous lunch we enjoyed here with our 3 children with a perfect view over the harbour!Although be warned: there is absolutely no pandering to the masses here. Only sirops for the children ("no chemical drinks we were told!") and I asked if there were frites to go with the children's main of mussels ("no we don't do frites")... More

We chose this restaurant because it looked like a nice place to enjoy the local specialty Boullabaise. We arrive about 7pm without a booking and were fortunate enough to get a table. The manageress was very unhelpful and bordering on rude, certainly did not make us feel welcome at all. And the restaurant was only half full. The Boullabaise is... More

The Nino restaurant is very well situated in the Cassis port, with a large veranda-like terrace. Almost the entire menu is made up of fish, and that seems to be logical. Having taken the classic bouillabaisse, I was however extremely disappointed; since it is not really good. Fish is ok, but with a too large portion of conger eel. Potatoes... More

We have had many wonderful meals on this trip. Our meal at Nino was not one of them. We should have known after my wife, a native french speaker, asked about the fish in a particular dish. The maitre d' castigated her for even asking, saying only Americans asked such questions (the rest of the table were Americans) and did... More

We only went in for fish soup for lunch, but it was really nice. The toast was crisp, so had been toasted recently - in house, and the soup was better than I had had before. We watched fish for other customers being prepared and served properly, and though we had only popped in for this lunchtime snack, we saw... More

When we go to Cassis we always have dinner at Nino, right on the port with a stunning view. This year they have a new chef, Thomas, who changed the menu. It is just a delight.

As usual, we were welcome and be able tl got a windows table to enjoy the wonderful view on the marina. Each was not only fresh and tasty but large panel of typical smells and flavours. I came for business meetings, personal dinner or even family gatherings with always the same pleasure. You wanna enjoy this little jewel of Cassis,... More

Have been here a couple of times now! Although a bit pricy, tuna tartare and perfectly cooked scallops are worth every cent. Personalised service and boosters provided for toddlers makes it a happy meal.
