We ended up here because it was the only place that wasn't full, so weren't expecting much. However the food was really nice; simple and decent. We had charcuterie and grilled langoustines and a bottle of house red- everything was delicious and the staff were friendly. I've never been to Corsica so I can't comment on the authenticity of the... More

We visited this Corsican restaurant on the recommendation of a local who told us we'd get good food and good value. Arriving at around 8.30pm the place was rammed and I was given short shrift by the owner who told me the only option was to sit inside (which was empty, soulless and dated in its decor.) Returning an hour... More

The restaurant in an alley one block away from the quad. So it does not provide the views of the pier, the boats or the beach. But the food and relaxing atmosphere more than make up for the lack of scenery. Seating is mostly outside with the interior somewhat vestigial. The plate du jour, sausages were distinct enough and very... More

This restaurant have dishes from corse. It was the first time i've tried food from there and i was very surprides with the quality. The staff is very friendly, helpfull and very happy. I was very satified with the food and with the staff. It's near the centre.

A daube is beef cooked so slowly that it metls under your fork, you dont need a knife. An anti daube, such as I was served here, is gristle that has to be sawed into chunks before you can even put it in your mouth and then chew, chew, chew. Avoid

The food was average and the service was poor. There are better places to be found. We had to ask the waiter for the check after waiting patiently for a long while. Then he went and smoked a cigarette in front of us and left us waiting 30 minutes. Rude.

I was referred to Saveurs Latine by Maud at La Bastidaine (B&B). When I got there, I was a bit unsure... I didn't know what their flag stood for, I later on learned it was the Corsican flag. The servers were nice and respectful, but reminded me of Turkish servers, they mean business. When our entree came, the fireworks started!... More

There are many places to eat in Cassis, but having a good value for money is a different story. The city is small and the central area is packed with tourists. Saveurs Latins qualifies, at least in our case, for a genuine tourist trap. Their lunch deal containing the main dish + wine + desert is to be avoided: Extra... More

Once you have done the obligatory meal portside you'll want to eat in a restaurant in one of the little backstreets. Saveurs Latines is a lovely place to do so. The food is a bit different, being Corsican, and absolutely delicious. The waiters were having genuine fun with the customers and the setting is great, just off the main drag.... More
