First off, the servers, all young men, did not want to allow me to sit where I requested. But it wasn't a big deal. What *was* a big deal is that my moules a la provencale were just mussels covered in jarred tomato sauce. Also, the soupe de poisson was so awful that we now have an inside joke about... More

Lovely meal here. A little pricey especially for the self made bouillbaise. Fish was brought out along with half a lobster, soup, bread and cheese. Do it yourself soup. Voila. Gambas (shrimp) were ok but not peeled. Real shock came when they advised that they do not take credit cards. Had enough Euros, thankfully.

We always come back here because of the warm welcome and the fresh fish. Today sole, sautéed and served with frites and the bouquet de crevettes. Rosé from the region (Paternel) and correct prices. When Cassis is busy, expect to wait for a table, especially if you want one on the 'balcony' where the view of Cap Canaille and the... More

Not the best of the bunch but passable. I had the Moules Frite, at least 30% of my shells were empty. Great position and a friendly service.

This restaurant has been a family favourite for fish dishes for many years. We all love the mussels and the friendly atmosphere. There is often a queue so book in advance if you can especially in the high season.

good location in Cassis. Good ambience, but the food was disappointing. You can only pay in cash, not a problem. Restaurant was recommended by lonely planet, but I felt not really a good representation of french seafood. A bit over hyped.

The sea food was very good and competitively priced but the young men serving were casual, forgetful and offhand verging on the outright rude. There are many other alternatives on the harbour front which you can check out before risking an annoying experience here. BEWARE cash or cheque only-NO CREDIT CARDS

This review is only based on the service provided by the "wonderful" Eric, a french man who seems to either be the owner or the one who is in charge of seating guests at the tables. Let me rewind to my wonderful 2-night stay in Cassis, a small and quaint town 20 minutes from Marseille filled with small shops, beautiful... More

We were a group of 11 with some small kids. It was a windy and rainy day so we were lucky to have an inside table (kind of an own space/room with a long table just for our group). The service was excellent but the main course (a grilled fish) a little bit disappointing. The appetizers were very good though.... More

As Cornish seafood lovers we were recommended this restaurant, but it was so busy and when a table became available after 20 mins we were hurried continuously. The waiters were flying around with no real time to explain the menu. The fish arrived with no presentation and full of bones. I know it was August but we ate at another... More
