excellent variety. Beautifiully cooked food. Excellent service. For dessert my wife chose mousse au chocolat. The serving bowl was left on the table for her to help herself. Excellent ambience. So much better than the Detroit next door. Gave us a free bottle of wine when we left.

We visited recently after a day trip to Calais. We normally eat at the Detroit next door (the food here is great also!) but unfortunately they were late opening and we could have missed our ferry. As Le Channel was open, we decided to give it a try. What a good choice - the 22 euro menu was excellent with... More

Fabulous food. We ate the gourmet menu (45 euros) as we were celebrating but the 22 euro menu looked good. All the food was delicious, beautifully cooked and the plates were red hot. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Looking forward to eating here again

This is an exceptional family run restaurant. The service is excellent, wine is superb (they will recommend a wine if you ask) and the food is wonderful. They do 3 set menus - 18, 22 or 42 Euro and an a la carte. If you have the time and the money go for the set 42 Euro menu and you... More

We were given a friendly greeting and the staff were superb throughout the meal The set lunch was an indulgent experience, not rushed, and full of flavours It might not look special from the outside, but don't be put off, it is well worth all the praise

Although a bit pricy we sat down to the 42 Euro menu and all four of us could not praise it enough, the food was fresh well presented and excellent quality

Wonderful food, wine and above all service. A shame it's out of my price range. Someone else paid! The family also run an excellent shop selling cheese & wine, imaginatively called "La Maison du Fromage et des Vins", offering the same friendly, helpful service.

Returned again for a lovely meal. The atmosphere is lively but not noisy, the restaurant is well located and is welcoming. The food was delicious. Expensive but worth it!

The iconic reputation amongst seafood aficionados around the world is well deserved. The seafood choices are extensive and so perfectly prepared and presented. The wine list is a legend and to have such vintage wines available at what must have been original inventory prices is bewildering. The service is unsurpassable and the knowledge and helpfulness of staff excellent. The desert... More

Been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. We travel all the way from Birmingham just to have a meal there. The food is superb and really high quality. The service from all the staff is unsurpassed. We absolutely love it and will keep returning time and time again. Congratulations to the Crespo family for running such a superb... More
