It was a good honest meal followed by a Café Gourmand which was also good. The focus of the restaurant is clearly pork and the spit roast did look inviting.

Situated on the canal close to the centre of the city in this bustling restaurant and cafe area a trip to Le Porc is a must. Such friendly staff and great food. Used by locals and families the atmosphere is special for couples or parties. No rush and a good but not expensive wine lost.

This was probably the least sophisticated of the places in St Leu - or so we thought. It was a real gem! Some of the best pate I've ever had, and the pork mains were simply amazing - have with the Flandrian Rince-Cochon beer for the ultimate pig-out!

Great food, with a particularly special food experience regarding a tartare dish, our travelling companion and the waiter, ducks visiting the clientele, excellent service, relaxed atmosphere alongside the river which was full of duck, swans and a very cold, very still "man" whose torso was covered by a white t-shirt.......

This is situated right alongside the River Somme so is in a lovely location. There are set menus to choose from as well as al a carte. I had the ribs and my partner has pork wrapped in a sort of breadcrumbs both of which were lovely. We weren't offered any sort of English menu so had to guess a... More

Right next to the river on a sunny evening. The food was very good and helped a lot by explanations and recommendations from the English speaking waitress Ambre whose personality and cheerfulness stood out. My wife and I enjoyed the meal a lot.

We ate here last summer with our grand children and we all enjoyed it very much. We sat outside by the river and saw ducks, swans and moorhens....the grand children loved it. The waiters were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The suckling pig was to die for. A thoroughly enjoyable 2 hours and well worth a visit.

Dined here in August, on a windy evening so everyone was indoors and not sitting out by the water. On a fine night it would be a lovely place to eat. A wide choice of dishes (a lot of pork!) on the menu and some good set menus to pick from. The food was good wholesome stuff and the staff... More

Stopped off in Amiens a couple of weeks ago and visited this restaurant for about the fifth time , I cannot think why I have not reviewed it before. Sitting on the edge of the River (Somme?) in the centre of Amiens and about 500 yards from the magnificent cathederal the location alone makes it worth visiting. Having said that... More

This restaurant is in a row of restaurants by the River Somme. The waiters were friendly and helpful. We ordered from the set menu and the food was very good. The overall cost including a pastis each before the meal and a bottle of wine with the meal was around Euros 80 for two people.
