The restaurant is one of many on the attractive Quai Bélu between (possibly reconstructed) medieval buildings and the canal, with Amiens' great 13th century cathedral beyond. Under pleasant shade, we enjoyed our steak à point, frites, salade niçoise, beer and espresso. Efficient if unsmiling service from our waitress. Mercifully some rather untalented jugglers/dancers spruiking for euros didn't pester customers in... More

Have now visited twice, once last summer and recently on business. Fact I have been back speaks volumes. Fairly good prices, good choices of food and wine. Nice tables by the river, highly recommended

We came here on a recommendation for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday recently. The restaurant is in a long row of restaurants beside a river and looks across to the Cathedral. A very picturesque setting as we sat outside in the sunshine. The menu was plentiful and the French staff helped with translation. We each had a different pork dish... More

The very best thing about this restaurant was our waiter, who was fun, played along with our humour and advised wisely on the menu. The food was overall, pretty reasonable. The wine list was pedestrian. Well located, all good.

We have been here a couple of times and the food is always great. Lots of different pork )& a few other things as well. My 6 year old daughter had the kids pork which was huge & delicious, proper roast pork & crackling!! I had the pork en croute which was really tasty. Nice friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!!

We had a late lunch in December whilst in town for the Christmas Markets. We both opted for the plat du jour which was Roast Chicken with Dauphinoise potatoes. It was a good honest meal followed by a Café Gourmand which was also good. The focus of the restaurant is clearly pork and the spit roast did look inviting.

Situated on the canal close to the centre of the city in this bustling restaurant and cafe area a trip to Le Porc is a must. Such friendly staff and great food. Used by locals and families the atmosphere is special for couples or parties. No rush and a good but not expensive wine lost.

This was probably the least sophisticated of the places in St Leu - or so we thought. It was a real gem! Some of the best pate I've ever had, and the pork mains were simply amazing - have with the Flandrian Rince-Cochon beer for the ultimate pig-out!

Great food, with a particularly special food experience regarding a tartare dish, our travelling companion and the waiter, ducks visiting the clientele, excellent service, relaxed atmosphere alongside the river which was full of duck, swans and a very cold, very still "man" whose torso was covered by a white t-shirt.......

This is situated right alongside the River Somme so is in a lovely location. There are set menus to choose from as well as al a carte. I had the ribs and my partner has pork wrapped in a sort of breadcrumbs both of which were lovely. We weren't offered any sort of English menu so had to guess a... More
