Tucked away in the most unlikeliest place in Boulogne, this restaurant is a gem. It is situated in the middle of the fish docks surrounded by warehouses and lorry parks. Don't let this deceive you though. Upstairs is a fine but not pretentious restaurant busy with locals which to me suggests good food is being served. This is a fish... More

We read the reviews on trip advisor and were tempted to stop for lunch on a wine buying day trip . It is tricky to find but persevere its worth the effort! The place was packed on a Friday lunchtime but as we arrived about 2pm ( they are open until 4.30pm) there was one table available as someone had... More

Had an overnight stop in Boulogne as part of a golf trip. Wanted a big breakfast to set us up for the day and as this place opens early we thought we check it out. Great decision. Place was quite busy with the dock workers and lorry drivers but got a table and got served quickly. Along with plated meals,... More

Once again a lovely lunch. Chef's suggestion was superb, a delicious white fish salad with garlic dressing, followed by squid brochette and then a most wonderful pear charlotte with chocolate sauce. Great friendly ambience and friendly waiters.

Situated in the middle of an industrial area next to the fishing port, unless you knew it was there you would never find it! But once inside, the place is buzzing with regular customers, and always full. YOU MUST BOOK! Friendly service, with some English-speaking staff. Fixed price three-course menu (with some supplements) and daily specials or a la carte,... More

Must book as it really fills up at lunchtime with hungry regulars of all ages. Plenty of choice (supplements apply to some dishes) but I always want the wonderful crunchy "fish fingers" starter - whiting this time - with rouille. The fish of the day was two different white fish fillets on a pink (so shellfish) sauced risotto. Absolutely delicious,... More

Our first visit, and there will be lots more. This is straightforward but very good cooking, a mecca for fish lovers with interesting daily specials, good service, and a lot of attention to detail - immaculate tableware, house wine that is exceptionally good, and the kind of bread we've not found for a long time. Full house, so best to... More

Perfect stop for a lunch in Boulogne. My coquilles St Jacques with mushroom sauce were delectable and the sauteed encornets were tasty. The brochette of scallops for mains was very generous and as fresh as they could possibly be. This place is a real gem for those who appreciate good value fish and shellfish on a €21 menu. Gets very... More

This is a wonderful restaurant for lovers of fish and seafood. There is a basic menu at €21 to which you can add if you want things like sole meunière or turbot, and, if you don't want to spend a fortune, the house wines by the carafe are very drinkable with food. The staff are amazingly professional and it is... More
