It was hard to find any open restaurant Sunday late afternoon in the city center. Finally we bumped into this old building next to the Chram of Chmele with interesting industrial interior. The menu offers the interesting selection and meals are tasty. My yummy typical...Czech dish - roasted pork chunks with red raisin star anise cabbage and potato dumplings coated in breadcrumbs was splashed down by good beers. They have also on the tap non alcoholic beer but I recommend to try hoppy-grapefruit lemonade, the best alternative to fruity Birell (free alcohol beer). The service was cordial and fast. In summer there is a large beer garden. One can buy their craft beer to take home.More

Authentic and really good in quality brewery and restaurant in the center of Zatec. I've been there with my wife and a couple of friends at the end of October 2017. Unfortunately it was on monday and the Hop Museum nearby was closed. However Zatec...is a nice little town, for beer and for sightseeing as well. We've been really surprised by the quality of beer and food served at U Orloje. You can see their small microbrewery in a corner of the restaurant: if you have the choice to try a single beer please try their Tmave, the dark one: absolutely an outstanding brew. A must for a beer geek. You can take it away in plastic bottles or growlers if you want. Food is certainly above the average of czech restaurants. Really nice service and prices are OK, cheaper than we expected. The location is in a mixed style traditional / modern: a warm place to stay...we surely come back in 2018, probably for Zatec Hop Festival in September.More

The restaurant it self is very nice, good location. Service needs some guidance and leadership. Nevertheless, what is bad is the food. Not sure who was in the kitchen on Monday afternoon, but it could not have been anybody with any chef experience what so...ever. The Pork steak was obviously cooked from frozen, the baked potatoes were simple fries that were leaking in fat. My Boar Goulash was horrid. The dumplings were not fresh (you would expect it in an establishment like this), the sauce was ready to made and not one typical for a boar goulash. It is a great shame, because the restaurant is very nice and would have a nice potential.More

Right next the Hops temple and Hops museum, excellent spot for lunch. Try their 11° degree beer - it's super nice!

This brewery-pub-restaurant was an interesting place to visit. It seems to be the most tourist-ready establishment in the city of Zatec. The beers were tasty, but the tasting set of four beers was somewhat confusing because they seem to only serve three different types. Added...to this, there was no written or spoken mention of what each of the four beers was! The food was tasty, I took a turkey schnitzel, and wait time was not an issue. I do wonder why there are no bar stools though!More

My friend and I each enjoyed the beef goulash at U Orloje and it was complimented well by a bottle of Vinice Hnanice Modry Portugal (red wine) and a plate of steamed vegetables. I wanted to top it off with the apple strudel but there...was no room.More

Very very "local" restaurant with local food. Looks like a brewery and has three variants of beer. The food is quite good - we had a goulash as well as stuffed chicken steak as well as apple strudel. You can also pay with Euros there...in case you have a need for it and they have an English menu to help with the selection.More

Nice staff, good food but the waiting time for a meal was extremely long. With just couple of guests. If at least they warned us before we ordered.

We went here for lunch and both had two beers and a goulash and dumplings. Food was good, sauce with the goulash excellent, although meat a tad chewy. We then shared an apple strudel which the waitress warned us would be a 20 minute wait....One can eat inside or outside in the beer garden.More

This restaurant pub was quite great. Beer was good, specially dark one. Dishes were correct and copious. We ordered common known cocktails and it was very enjoyable. Don't hesitate, they have entirely translated menus.
