I have eaten lunch at the Bell & Cross twice in the past year. The first time was on a Saturday in mid-2016 following recommendation by a family member. My wife and I weren't disappointed. The meal was delightful with quiet, attentive service and un-fussy food, excellently cooked and presented. The second time was on a Sunday this month (April... More

Popped in for Sunday lunch with my Mother yesterday after a long walk around Clent Hills with our pup... The joyfully busy garden is dog friendly which is brilliant as we don't like to leave her in the car unattended especially in the heat! We sat and had a peppermint tea outside before ordering food, once we had ordered and... More

Evening weekday visit unbooked. Entered pub via very tidy pretty garden. Greeted straight away by extremely polite gentleman, Henry? Asked whether we wanted to go to table, or have a drink in the bar before eating, which was nice. Good range of real ales and good house wine. Lovely old pub, with lots of cosy rooms. We ate of set... More

Over the years, we have been to The Bell and Cross many times and enjoyed it, but our recent visit, with the same set of friends, confirmed our thoughts from the last couple of times, that this venue is nothing like as good as it used to be. From being shown to our table it was 30 minutes before we... More

We came here on Mothering Sunday for Lunch and the food and service were faultless. A really good and varied selection of starters and main courses which were all excellent plenty of vegetables which were replenished very quickly followed by some lovely puddings enjoyed by all. It was overpriced I think at £36.95 per person plus drinks but because it... More

We have eaten here before but never the Sunday lunch, not the cheapest Sunday lunch ever but absolute top quality, beautifully cooked beef, crispy roasties and excellent al dente veg. Worth every penny and the bonus of Enville ale on tap.

Booked a table using their online facility, called to confirm (as no response) and left a message. Still no response so called again to be told had no record of booking and no messages. Very disappointed and now to late to book anything else.

Four of us visited for a evening meal. Did not have a starter and had a main and a sweet. Both were excellent as was the service. We visit here two or three times a year and always enjoy our meal, we will keep coming back for our special occasions. The food was exceptional.
