Frequent visitors who walked out after being asked 4 times what we wanted to order. After 20 minutes the drinks still hadn't arrived! Others were served before us who had ordered after us. Who was in charge?

I visit this cafe whenever possible and can't remember a time where the experience was ever below excellent. During my partner and I's last visit, I ordered the scrambled egg and smoked salmon for breakfast - a meal which, after taking a bite of mine...More

Many thanks for your review - and I note your comments about the poached egg - and I entirely agree with you! They are my own particular favourite and I maintain they are so very difficult to get spot on in a very busy kitchen....More

Found Benedict's on a recent visit to the area. We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast, and came across the restaurant quite by chance. It was quite busy at 9.30am but we were able to find a table, and the waitress took our order...More

Thankyou for both your visits whilst in the area! I'm delighted you enjoyed the experience on both occasions. Benedicts was born as an offshoot to our mother ship Maureen Cooksons dress shop and has become a destination all of its own. Do sample the delights...More

I believe you must have a similar small business in, or near Whalley as the comments made about Tastebuds are entirely false. You then go on to do a review of Benedicts (Upmarket establishment I have been to over 40 times and not once had an issue) and again all negative and false. I have dinned at both of these establishments and they are absolutely marvellous. You are just a bitter old man wanting to harm local trade in Whalley and I think anyone should take your reviews with a pinch of salt!
