A microbrewery on the lake. Cosy skihut atmosphere. They have a garden to enjoy your dinner or sit inside and whatch the brewery. We checked out the trout and that was fantastic. Great job!

As beer connoisseurs we were excited to hear of a new local artisan brewery in Gerardmer when we arrived for our second holiday. Sadly, the beer quality was not that great, hopefully it will improve. The Restaurant and bar are are nicely decorated and there is a lovely outdoor area overlooking the garden. The brewing tanks are visible in the... More

This review may be influenced by the awful weather. Mid-June and it is cold, rainy, and foggy. This restaurant has an outside deck with sun umbrellas over tables but, of course, it was closed. Imagine if the weather had been warm and sunny! At any rate, this is a brewery with restaurant. The food is heavily influenced by the German... More

The most interesting with the restaurant is that you can drink the beer from their own micro brewery. If that is your thing, you will love this traditional Alsatian place. The restaurant is a bit away from the city center, but as Gerardmer is rather small it is not very far and it is worth a walk down to the... More

Maybe not remarkable, but really nothing to complain about the food. I liked its setting in the town park and near the lake, as well as its interior. Staff was really quick to react and friendly.

All three of us who ordered the "phankuchen special"ad quite some problems with their stomach the whole night. The personal who we informed said that this was due to the warm whether.... More

You enter the resturant beside the micro-brewery which somehow reassures you that this is a place where they care about how food and drink are prepared. The menu is full of hearty local dishes, which are served with cheeful aplonb. Many different beers are available, in quantities that vary from wine glass to jug. We booked for a return visit... Very good food...fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection, good selection of side dishes. Nice service, homey ambiance. Try to reserve a table by the openfire. And don't forget to try their home made beers. They have 4 types; my favorite is the blonde one. A "must try" to complete your winter mountain trip.
