We had two meals at this restaurant and the food is deserving of it's one-star. The restaurant is comfortable and welcoming with a seating area in the lobby for drinks. They specialise in single malt whiskies and have a huge array including some good aged ones. There was one set menu choice, and the a la carte to choose from.... More

We had the tasting menu on a busy Saturday evening. . . very often a challenge for any kitchen. This was not the case for us as each course was impeccably served, beautifully presented and a very enjoyable treat to all the senses. The universal favorite at our table was the foie gras with beet sorbet. None at the table... More

We ate here because we were staying at the attached Hotel Le Manoir (separate business). What a find! Service was perfect, food quality sensational and the ambiance delightful. I doubt you could eat better anywhere in the region.

A classic wood-paneled dining room with unusual modern furniture. Superior service and a friendly ambience. Both starters top-notch (St. Jacques ans salmon carpaccio), as was our main dish (rabbit with foie gras, with risotto). Tempting dessert trolley. The best restaurant in Epinal by a mile.

This place is cleary our favourite star restaurant. Elegance, comfort and culinary masterpieces abundant. The service is both very friendly and professional (the wine service was a bit on the slower side, however that evening- it seems they could not cope with our rhythm-, as the restaurant was fully booke). The menu Cadet Roussel for € 64.-- is the best... More

An excellent, high class, gourmet meal in an elegant decor. Of course far from cheap, but worth the price. Especially liked the "Canari" cocktail and Carpaccio de Saint-Jacques amuse-bouche. Maître d'hôtel a bit familiar.

Highly recommend from "Miss Picky". Sophisticated decor in an old world setting. The service is everything you expect from the friendly and accommodating staff. We arrived late without a reservation on a rainy night in September. No problem. We ordered 4 courses. No problem. Try the lapin along with the foie gras and the melange of desserts. You won't be...
