I been to the Le Poucet for years and finally wanted to share what a nice place it is. The food and service always delivers. Nice selection of fish and meats and the service is attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance is relaxed with a nice clientele. Would recommend for a pleasant dining experience.

Situated on an island in the Seine and offering riverside seating, this restaurant has an airy feeling, casual ambiance and a menue that doesn't change too much. Service can be slow on Sunday and quality of their food drops significantly so avoid this day. Great for relaxing long lunches and a smart biz dinner place as they have a let... More

This is a very good place for a business meeting especially during the summer as you will be outside close to the river. The downside is the quality of the food which is a bit industrial. The positive is that this is very fast

This is a classic pay for the location restaurant as its situated beautifully on a small island on the Seine. However, whilst it's not cheap the food is very good indeed so it doesn't disappoint. One tip if you're a tourist is try to get the seats near the river as the view is splendid. I've eaten here a few... More

this is a very nice restaurant on La Seine. Very calm surroundings, lot's of trees and on the water. Food is ok, not more and the service (during lunch) very slow. So, if you want a calm place to eat and feel in the country while in the heart of Paris, go there... You must not be in a hurry,... More

Don't get me wrong here. Location is superb, food is good and prepared nicely, service is also very good... but... For the price they charge, they miss the 'spark' the 'wow' factor in the dishes, my steak was certainly very good but like tons of others... not particularly cured selection of wines either. It'd be a very good restaurant if... More

Venture just a bit out of central Paris and you'll find this lovely restaurant right on the banks of the Seine. First the not so good... The menu is only available in French and the staff speak limited English but they were very helpful and friendly. In short, really not a big problem. Initially, service was incredibly slow and we...
