Cozy and inviting ambiance, good traditional French food and plenty of excellent wines by the glass, this bistro has it all. Still thinking about the delicious fresh truffle omelet at yesterday's lunch, with a glass of Cotes du Rhone. Doesn't get much better than that. Reservations recommended, though if you arrive early enough for lunch there's bound to be room.

This is an excellent restaurant serving well prepared traditional French food with an imaginative twist. We enjoyed it so much that we returned again the following evening and were not disappointed. We spent 3 weeks travelling around France mainly opting for the menu of the day when eating out and this was by some distance our best experience. Wilfreid and... More

Forget the usual pasta and grilled steak, and indulge yourself with real and local French cuisine. Ranging from eels, snails, duck, lamb, cod and up to crème brulée, everything is delicious and hand made. The service was a little junior for my taste, and the price was right for the level of quality. I'll go back if I have a... More

The food is really good even if not special, at least for this one visit. Definitly would return for a next visit, They have 2 menu options one 'basic' one 'premium', but also a la carte, good range of choices

We visited this restaurant between visits to the Armistice Clearing and the Palace and had a fantastic meal. We ordered the 3 course lunch. I had Escargot in cheese sauce, Shoulder of Lamb with Lentils, and Apple/raisin Crisp with Apple Ice Cream for dessert while my husband had Scallop St. Jacques Soup, Monkfish with Red Peppers on bed of Spinach,... Actually we were warned by 2 locals to find another place to eat. They were right! We had nice food and the portions were good but the waiters were out of sight and took no care of us. Every time one of us had to stand up to get someone to look after us. Of course this was very frustrating... More

We had a great lunch at Bistrot du Terrior. The three course lunch was generous in the options offered and included a drink as well as coffee. Each course was interesting and was very tasty - particularly the desserts which included a unique dish from Perigord. We would definitely recommend a visit.

We had lunch here after visiting the Chateau. Reasonable menu with many selections - mostly locals. Food very nice and good value - service a bit off

Went for dinner, service attentive and helpful, food is better-than-average for a smalltown bistro. Very friendly service; casual ambience. Probably the best choice in this small city!
