The serving staff woman here (30’s brunette long hair) is amazing. So kind and attentive, but not pushy. She is honest, cordial, and not rude. She speaks English, and will give honest and accurate opinions about the food. The food was above average and in...line with the price - a good value - I had the white fish with a broccoli potato purée. The atmosphere is nice- clean, not crowded, and has at least a few French regulars that were enjoying the food that I could tell. Would repeat. Only downside - the WC was missing a toilet seat the day I was there. Maybe under maintenance....More

Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner: you cannot beat Pile Ça for its opening hours! Hospitality is truly the key word: Patrick and his two daughters provide a genuinely friendly and incredibly efficient service. At lunch time the restaurant was full with...nearby workers, however all dishes were served rather promptly. The house prouds itself on homemade dishes; therefore the menu is kept short and features classic French brasserie food. I opted for the two-course menu for €17.50 (either starter+main, or main+dessert). As starter the salmon rillettes tasted very good. As main course I chose one of the house specialty: “steak tartare” - generous portion, very fresh, served with crispy and obviously homemade fries. Unreasonably I indulged myself with a mousse au chocolat (€6.00) for dessert: so good that I licked the bowl clear! Of course Pile Ça also has some minor flaws. The restaurant is rather noisy. Prices are on the higher level - expect a bill of €30-€35 for a full lunch including wine. Not cheap, but you can trust the great food and lovely service.More

After several days of multicourse meals, one of our party wanted a simple Steak Tartare. We were looking for a place close to our hotel Molitor and found this by chance. We had a great evening in this restaurant. Very pleasant and extremely fast service...from the beginning till the end. Very good Food (from starters to deserts), everything home made with high Quality ingredients (including the meat for steak, Steak tartare and burger). What was truly exceptional is the Baba au Rhum they made. Highest quality, no difference to the last I had at Alain Ducasse (and it is his signature dish). Well done équipe Pile Ca, we will be back and spread the word.More

Coming back from town one evening we were having a hard time finding places still open. The Pile ca! staff welcomed us in and served us up with hot and tasty food accompanied by pleasant service and a nice glass of wine. What more could...you ask for!More

We have been here several times with its warm welcome, good service and excellent price/quality. Yesterday evening was, I hope, the exception. The waitress was obviously out of sorts and trying to cope with a 70% full restaurant. The starters were fine but both the...burger and the supreme of chicken were very average. The best part was the waitress managed to knock my bottle of wine all over me, my pullover and trousers and of course all over the floor. I managed to clean myself with minimum help from the young lady and the spilled wine stayed all over the tablecloth and the floor for the rest of the meal. I did receive an apology twice and the « generous «  offer of a free coffee which we refused. I suggested a glass of wine which at least I received...one only. I know accidents can happen but good customer relations can be taught!!More

My first choice based on TA listings was closed on a Sunday evening, but I️ spotted Pile Ça across the street and decided to take a chance. I’m glad I️ did! My food was delicious and well prepared with fresh ingredients, and the waitress was...friendly. I️ was also pleasantly surprised how inexpensive the bill was. The atmosphere is of a local, functional, family restaurant. Nothing fancy about the decor, but if you are looking for an excellent meal at a reasonable price, definitely look here.More
