From the outside the restaurant looks nice, plus they have lots of recommendations from different guides and Tripadvisor as well, also I was convinced to try because they write that they use lots of biological ingredients. I was the only one in the restaurants and this already says a lot... Food was very poor and service was practically inexistent. I... More

We went out to eat in pouring rain as the heatwave broke. We were shown to the romantic corner next to the outside seating area where we could watch the rain lashing down on the tables outside. Good service, pleasant local wine. Food well presented, just needed a bit more flavour. Chateauroux doesn't have a lot restaurants open in August.... More

We stopped off at this interesting looking restaurant on our way from Poitiers to Bourges. The restaurant decor was nice and menu looked interesting. We were two adults and 3 children. The male waiter was very friendly and accommodating to the children's menu choices. The plates were brought by the female waitress not too long after ordering. Well that spoilt... More

We arrived early on a Saturday evening after a long drive. The food was good but came so quickly we didn't have time to talk between courses. When it came to desert we asked them to slow down but didn't have much effect. The only delay was paying the bill because by that time the restaurant was filling up and... More

Many of the restaurants in Chateauroux close on Sundays but this little, easily found restaurant provided us with a lovely meal on Sunday evening. Good French cooking with good service and choice. We ate on the terrace which turned out to be not as well decorated as the main restaurant and was simply a downstairs room lower than the main... More

This is the type of classic French Traditional food that you would expect when discovering a new town. By far one of the best restaurants I have tried in Chateauroux. A bit pricey but worth it. The setting is comfortable and quiet with stylish, discreet and efficient service. I had the "Tournedos d'agneau au chèvre frais et romarin" at 16.50... More
