We were put off when the the well advertised menu of the day was for lunch only - it should be clearer. However the restaurant was busy and people were having a pleasant time. There is a great range of meals from pizza to lobster....Our oysters were very good and the pizza enjoyable. The staff were good and attentive. Wine list was somewhat limited but not too expensive. OK for a pleasant meal with friends and family but not for a special night out.More

Who would have thought you'd get great seafood in a pizzeria? I don't know how good the pizza is, but the huge prawns and mussels we had this evening were superb. Lots of selection at very reasonable prices. Our server was attentive and accommodating. We...are coming back tomorrow night and will try something new. Thanks Al Dente for a great experience.More

Had takeaway pizzas from here to eat on the beach with family- will definitely be back to eat in and for more of the delicious pizzas! Restaurant looks lovely, staff were great and we were surprised the pizzas were cooked straight away to order despite...a busy restaurant. Would have been happy if told we needed to come back later to collect. Had a drink on the lovely terrace whilst waiting. A gem.More

We had dinner twice at this place with the whole family of 14 people. We liked it very much. Lot of choice and very good food. We tried mussels, pizze, crêpes, profiteroles and liked it all. Plus the waitress was very nice.

Ordered one of the specialty dishes costing double than the basics. Totally not worth it. Both quantity and quality not very good and nearly cold when arriving at the table.

Delicious pizza with thin crust. Friendly and fast service with a smile. Reasonable prices. The place was very busy but we got served promptly and were well looked after. A very good place for a decently priced meal ehen holidaying in Trebeurden, but I wouldn't...make a special trip for it. In terms of improvements: the decor is very old-fashioned and soulless, and the tables are very close together.More

The pizzas, though not all strictly Italian-style ingredients (e.g. the infamous pizza tartiflette) were tasty and thin with plenty of toppings. No room for dessert which looked very good and generous! Good local beer, ok house wine and very reasonable prices too. The place was...empty when we arrived at 7pm on a weekday but several people were waiting for tables when we left.More

This is a pretty restaurant, and often open when others are closed. But inevitably with such a large selection of dishes , nothing seems to be quite as good as it should; Have tried it 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years,...don't think we'll be doing so again. Shame.More

Kind of ironic to get overcooked pasta at a place called al dente... Pizza was overloaded with vegetables. Ok service, though.

After eating in Tregastell and Ploumanac for most of the week we turned left at the junction and found this little gem of a restaurant. It is obviously very well known to the locals as it is full most of the time, so booking is...a good idea. Very pleasant staff and excellent food all set in a lovely spot, by the side of a small lake. It is more reasonable than the beach side restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.More
