The restaurant of our choice was closed so we decided to try this one and I am so glad that we did. It is the best restaurant that we went to and quite faultless. It is fairly small but lightly decorated and situated at the end of the bay in a quieter location overlooking the sea. The service was excellent... More

We have eaten here before but the Restaurant has changed management since then and has been decorated in very relaxing soft tones. The welcome was only surpassed by the wonderful views over the bay towards Mont St Michel. The food was well prepared and presented with friendly service that enhanced the experience. This Restaurant is well worth a visit but... More

We ate here on our last evening in cancale and it was by far the best. Service, food and quiet location over looking the sea were excellent.

At the opposite end from most restaurants and activity in Cancale, you will find the small and quaint Le Bout du Qaui. It is a bit American in its appearance...a small. low and unassuming building, but with a superb atmosphere and freshness of food which can only be matched by Chez Victor at the very other end of the Cancale... We decided to visit Cancale after a day at the beach in St. Malo and picked this restaurant as we really wanted a nice view by the seaside. It was wonderful! The view, the service and the food were really lovely. The staff was very attentive, especially to a non-speaking such as myself. I had the Menu de la Baie... More

Having eaten well here 4 years ago we were looking forward to revisiting this restaurant, which is situated right at the far end of Cancale. This time the meal was pleasant enough, but not exciting. The welcome was somewhat less than effusive, but this have been because France had been knocked out of the World Cup that evening! All in... More

Absolutely beautiful and fresh lunch. Beautiful walk down to the port from the parking above. We were greeted and promptly seated. Between their semi-English and our semi-French, we had no problem ordering and communicating at all. The BEST and most perfectly cooked scallops I have ever had. The creme brulee was to die for. The seafood cream was light and... More
