Mid week late October, Montluçon was eerily quiet, but this place was nearly full, always a good sign. Service was brisk yet friendly and the menu if not imaginative was exceptionally well delivered. The puff pastry starters were well presented and tasty. I had a...More

Very good food. My husband rated his burger foie gras as one of the best burgers he has had - and he has had plenty of burgers! My salmon with leek and cheese was excellent.

Situated in the old town. The restaurant is atmospheric with industrial decor and low lighting. Service was very good and surprising fast. All given with a smile. The food was great with good portion size. The only down side being the small choice of beer...More

A smallish restaurant, with the possibility of eating outside in the summer, serving delicious food at reasonable prices. The starters are large, as are the salads. The mains can be on the heavy, stick-to-the-ribs side, cuisine de maman style. Service is friendly and efficient. Recommended.

The place was packed and looked the part. Service was over stressed, which was understandable taking the temperature and the workload into account. The food was however unforgivably sloppily prepared. The entrecôte was not freshly fried, the salad not appetizing and the tiramisu was frozen....More

Fabulous bistro. Don't be fooled by modern setting with industrial/ worker signs, safety helmets, etc. Cassoulet du canard was just the sort of dish we came to France for. Or better. Heaven. Merci beaucoup!
