Tucked away on the edge of the old town and off the tourist track. Pleasant decor that makes the most of the Sarlat stone building in which it is situated. Lots of choice on the menu with a strong focus on local Perigourdine cuisine. The prorietor speaks much better English than do I speak French and he was both helpful,... More

We walked in off the street on a Tuesday night, very pleasant atmosphere. Were greeted immediately and presented with menus. When asked our drink selection, the waiter brought us the wine he thought we might like, and told us to taste it, and he would change if not to our liking. We all stayed with his choices and had wonderful... More

Reserved at this restaurant on a hot, steamy night in late August. Were able to eat on the terrace on a nice quiet street in the old quarter of Sarlat. The food was very good - had duck spring rolls which were excellent, and lamb chops which were very good; service was overall pretty good although a little slow

I had booked a table for 11 people as it was a market day and I knew it would be busy. I booked by email and they replied by asking me to phone to confirm. I called them the next day, a week before the booking and confirmed they day and time. I should have realised they were unreliable as... More

We found this restaurant on a trip advisor and can report that it did not disappoint in any way. The food was excellent, the wine ( with the help of madam) very good, service paced and relaxed. We would return

Very friendly service. Good wine and great local food. We wished they had more choices for people who do not eat meat.

make a reservation because this fills up quick! The duck was the best I had in the Dordogne region. The wine that our waitress suggested was amazing and only around $30.00 a bottle. Wonderful!

The nice hotel were my family and I were staying recommended this restaurant as one of the best local places to eat locally. Since it was dinner time, we did not have time to make a reservation. Just walked in and --unfortunately-- found a round table. The children were served, and the first plate, also. Hour and fifteen minutes later... More
