One of the best place certainly to eat in Sarlat.Although owned by a Portuguese ,the food is traditionally Perigourdine. The quality vary from excellent to medium depending of the moment,as the restaurant can be very overcrowded with the obvious results.. Definitely try the foie gras frais cuit et the magret de canard.Traditional plates of the area and well executed.Service generally slow.Prices... More

I think it was the best goose liver I have had in years. A varied menu and not very expensive. Staff were correct and the terrace is very romantic.

The food was mostly pretty good, generally of the quality you'd expect for the price. However, the reek of cigarette smoke greatly diminishes the taste of the food. As there were no ashtrays on the tables, we'd hoped it would be free of smoke, but as more guests arrived ashtrays were delivered to tables and the smell often overpowered the... More

Delicious lamb not so the duck. I don't often have duck, to me it just seemed a little tough, so...The service was wonderful. The wait staff seemed to be very attentive, especially with such a large group. Surroundings were beautiful. Did enjoy the rest of the meal!

If you're in Sarlat then this restaurant is a must visit. Fantastic surroundings, great service and the food...well the food is amazing. The wine list is extensive. You can choose from the a set €29.50 or €39.50 menu which I did with great options or you can just have what ever you want at reasonable prices.

A very good restaurant providing interesting, imaginative new and traditional dishes in a charming, beautiful setting. Very well prepared and presented. The service was responsive, professional and friendly. The sommelier was particularly attentive and knowledgeable choosing very good locally sourced pairings.

We ate at Le Presidial twice during a five night stay. Once as a couple and once in a group of eight. Both visits were spot on. The kitchen staff are obviously good at what they do. The service also ran well. Food delicious and well priced. Recommend highly.
