We had yet another meal at the Presidial this year after a break of two years, and were not disappointed. The ambiance is great, the setting perfect and the meal superb. Roll on next year!

This was out third visit to the Le Presidial and it continues to impress. The lamb I had as main course was utterly amazing, probably the best dish I have ever eaten.

Had a meal here to celebrate our friends 25 years of marriage. The hotel we were staying at recommend this. The surroundings are beautiful. The menu is a la carte and prices approx £35 each for 3 courses. We would have like a table upstairs overlooking the downstairs but this apparently is booked months in advance!! We booked on the... This restaurant is truly amazing to dine at. We just loved entering the beautiful garden and being shown to our table. The backdrop of the very old buildings of the vielle village surrounding this restaurant are visible from every table. They have a great wine list which includes the best of the surrounding local vineyards as well as some of... More

It's charming and quiet, with plenty of room between the tables, away from the hustle and bustle of the city's other restaurant streets, but still lively and fun. The food was delicious and... More

Excellent restaurant in Sarlat. The historic romantic setting, exquisite food and wine , friendly experienced staff add charm and warmth. We discovered The Presidial on a walk, and spoke to a patron as she left, she said it was the best meal she had experienced . She had the lamb, her husband the duck. We went the two nights we... Over the years this has been the most consistently exception restaurant that we've visited in Sarlat, this year is no exception. Food is lovingly presented and is always of a high quality. The restaurant sits in a courtyard/garden and considering it is in the middle of the village it is exceptionally quiet. You pay a little extra, but it is... More
