Went here as we just arrived and it was raining,so we sat inside. They found us a table for two right away. Service was swift and attentive, even though it was busy. I had steak,it was cooked exactly as requested. My husband had the lamb chops which he said were excellent.Would recommend, nothing special, just good, reasonably priced. On nice day there is a... In my last review of this Restaurant, I titled it 'I'll be back' and I can honestly say it was just as nice this time. In fact the last time we were here was March, so it was a little chilly in the evenings, so we sat inside. This time we had temps of 28deg during the day and a... More

My wife ordered a coffee & lemonade in French, as it was only 11.30 & the only other table occupied was drinking coffee. How wrong we were!! Not sure if it was because we were British but we were told very loudly (along with graphic sign language just in case we didn't understand the French) that we couldn't stay at... More

Pleasant location if you use the terrace by the river, it ticks all the boxes for a tasty, leisurely lunch. Alert and friendly service even if you're on the terrace outside.

Gorgeous, sunny Easter Saturday. Superb meal - we had lamb and beef. Service excellent. Good value, 56 euros for two, with drinks and dessert. Highly recommended. We sat outside on the covered terrace, but the whole place was busy.

We had a family meal here in the early evening (in fact we were the first customers) and the setting and value were fantastic. We sat in the Glazed front area of the restaurant which opens up during the summer to offer more outside seating (the whole front is sliding glass doors) but as this was March we were seated... Fantastic view over the river makes a lovely lunch spot. Food and drinks were pretty good also, normal french lunch selection, but think we paid for the view. But on a nice day it was worth it.

Whilst visiting this delightful town we tried Le Saint Sicaire for lunch. You could choose to sit by the river however we chose to sit nearer the restaurant as it was a bit chilly and had rained earlier but both areas had ample cover if it was to rain again. We had 3 generous courses from the set menu -... More

Great setting in Brantôme next to the river with a menu offering your typical regional fare with different set menu options to choose from as well as separate dishes. We all enjoyed our food with well cooked lamb and steak. The apple tart and creme brûlée were very good. Staff were friendly; mostly French speaking but that was ok for... More
