We had high hopes for this high end restaurant. The food was delicious and the setting perfect. Ambience and decor were also excellent. If only the waiter had been more interested in taking our order and brining our food rather than chatting to another couple at a nearby table then we would have awarded 5 stars. Instead we felt that... More

We enjoyed a delicious dinner inside this attractive and well kept restaurant. It is very well patronised at weekends. The oysters were excellent, as was the lamb. In order to serve so many diners we admired the excellent team spirit amongst the staff, who helped one another readily. There was a great atmosphere and diners responded accordingly. Well worth a... Yes it has a lovely beachfront view, which along with a few menu options we thought would be great as a first meal upon arriving in Arcachon for the first time. Our waitress spoke a little English and did do her best to translate the menu. The Salmon ceviche starter she recommended which to be far was pleasant I've had... More

Only one type of cocktail that they have, not much food choice. No wifi. I'm sure there are plenty other places on the promenade which are better

This is a large seafront restaurant and one of several vying for trade along this popular front. When we visited it was late ish for lunch (2:30) and we had just been turned down by the neighbouring Chez Pierre. However, no problem here and more people arrived as we ate so there was a nice atmosphere building up. We were... More

Oh my word! A group of two families and a minor special request- just a basic tomato with linguini pasta please "NO! Must have all the vegetables as per menu" and that's after we had visited the night before and had exactly that prepared for the children. Food is average in general while I thought the foie gras was excellent... More

We have been to Arcachon many times on our holidays from the UK. The three of us who dined here today all originate from Jersey,Channel Isles. I mention this as we all chose to have seafood and Jersey is renown for its seafood. I had Soupe de Poisson to start. Could have been hotter, croutons were nice, cheese was nice,Rouille OK,I have... We ate here one evening and chose the set three course menu which offered a good choice of starters, mains and desserts. Both the food and service were good and we did not feel in the least bit rushed or ignored. The Creme Brulee was one of the best I have ever had in France, (or anywhere else). The food... More

We had a nice lunch with view on the bassin d'Arcachon. See food was fantastic and fresh, and the magnet de canard was cooked to perfection. We always love to go there. Kids enjoyed the food too

We arrived in Arcachon and decided o walk along the promenade to decide in which restaurant to have lunch. After briefly looking at a number of menus we chose the Diego plage. We were very pleased that we had. Our starter of oysters was impeccable (as you would expect). The main courses of sea bass for my wife and fish... More
