We arrived on a Friday evening, ordering the Gargantesque menù. Starters were tasty, rabbit with moustard was delicious. Dessert was ok but not memorable. Everything homemade and fresh. Good value for money.
Amazing food, fantastic value for money, good service, wish it was nearer!!! After knowing the area for more than 25 years this is one of the best places we have ever eaten, best confit I have ever eaten
What a wonderful lunch has had by all. Fresh seasonal food, not a microwave in sight and everything cooked there and then. The wine was good and sensibly priced and, overall, this is somewhere that we would happily come back to. Highly recommended.
A great traditional and family restaurant under the arches in the grand city of Agen.
Food and service was prompt, delicious and traditional.
It was a great little gem on a hot day. Didn't want to leave and enjoyed a great discussion with the owner,...More
Rustic French food with fresh ingredients as there are no fridge or freezer in the Restaurant (or so we were told. ) Service was quick and efficient and it gives you a chance to practise your French as staff has not got a lot of...More
We were staying at a hotel in historic Agen and did not know our way around, so I did a google search for restaurants nearby. This one looked great and we were not disappointed. Our only small vice was that very close by and adjoining...More

I went twice to this restaurant, afternoon and evening, set in the historic centre and occupying a spacious room with tables larger than most. The place underlines that it has no microwave and no freezer, that everything is made fresh. Its menu was different from...More
French restaurant aren't all about haute cuisine. Try something different and go to this place. Don't let the interior fool you. The staff is friendly and the complementary bread and olive tapenade tastfull.

I know it's too late but I will answer to help other people. This restaurant is really casual, don't worry, rather "grandma style". Perfect for a lunch or dinner with friends or colleagues. For exeample, if you order 2 or 3 times the same course, all 3 are served in a pan or a big dish :)
I hope you enjoyed it !
