This is a great place for an evening meal on the patio. The space is secluded from the street and quiet yet lighted by the late afternoon sun so comfortably warm. There is enough breeze to remove the smoker's smoke efficiently. Service is business-like, not much chatter; just order and soon the food arrives. Oh the food! The fresh seasonal... More

We did not have time for a full meal as there is so much to see and do in Riquewihr, Alsace, France. However, the food we enjoyed was very good. We tried the local draught lager beer along with Tarte Flambée with tasty local vegetables. Excellent for a quick lunch. This was followed by a shared piece of cheesecake, also... More

I went there after trip advisor's comments. It has nice secret garden but the menu is small. We preferred Flambee, its taste is OK. I can also add that wine prices is high while you can buy a bottle from the village.

We found service pleasant and attentative without being in your face. The tarte flambé was excellent. Salmon was very good. Steak too rare. All serves large.

From the get go the stuff was very friendly and they gave as a table wich was convenien as we had a baby stroller with us. Even though it was nearly full the food arrived fast. The menu was typical of the province alsace, well presented and tasty. The resturant was decorated with animal heads of every kind, which was... More

Good ambience, good service. We were a bit cautious to one of us allergy to Vinegar. They found it hard to cop with . Had to return dishes, something unpleasant to all sides. Still they were professional. The food is heavy, portions are large.

We stopped for lunch on a typically busy touring day. The restaurant was a bit too busy for the very few staff which slowed the service; the food was average - I had a flambee with too much onion and over-powering other items; my wife had a salad which was fine.

We had no reservation and all tables were reserved except one larger communal table. We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Our meal choices were Alsatian specialties and terrific. A couple from the Netherlands were seated at our table as well and we ended up enjoying their company as well as the restaurant, it's food and staff. Very... More
