It was our first night at Eguisheim and we did not book a table and all restaurants were full. We finally found out this place. At first glance it was not that great, very old fashioned, like nothing has changed since the 50s. But the food... My wife who is an excellent cooker took a vegetable soup, the best ever... More

We ordered a three course "menu". The salad was fine, the main course of steak was not so great and the dessert was average. This place is okay in a pinch, but there is surely better options in this lovely village.

The place is really nice and we wanted a table by the window, but the waitress told us that all the tables by the windows were booked. We had dinner and by the time we finished (we was the last table that evening ) no one used the tables by the windows. The food was quite good but next time... More

The dinner here was an excellent experience. Each of our three courses was so delicious, generous portions and very tasty. The waiter was attentive and nothing was too much trouble and he was charming without being overbearing. We sat outside and enjoyed the sounds of a stork family clattering their beaks on nearby chimney stack as dusk fell. All in... More

Very tasty wild boar and duck sampled! Nice company and Wi-Fi access on request! A nice variety of choices to choose from.

Had a few beers and light dinner one evening. Good value for money. good food, good beer. Not open all the time so need to plan when to visit. nice and casual and some of the locals hang out here having a beer in the outdoor dining area which only has about 6 tables. would come here again!

Enjoyed lunch here on a rainy Tuesday in Enguisheim. I had the white asparagus soup and tarte flambée Munster - both very good but way too much food! Husband had bouchee reine- French version of chicken pot pie. Thoroughly enjoyed and would come back again!

Small, cozy restaurant where we can appreciate typical cuisine from the region. We tried 2 different options of Choucroute and the kids menu. Both were good. I really like the kids menu because they serve spaetzel (a type of pasta from the region). I don't know why restaurants insist that children have to eat French fries!!! We tried to Cola... More

3rd best of the 3 restos I frequented during my stay in Eguisheim (after Auberge Au Trois Châteaux and Au Vieux Porche). Inside decor is a bit tired (bar mats hanging from ceiling). I had the choucroute which was very nice but pity about the mustard in sachets! Place does have a down to earth family feel to it. It... More

We completely enjoyed our dinner at this family restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional. The family has owned this restaurant for generations and it shows in the care and attention they give to their food and to their guests.

Thank Katy W
