Spend an evening there, the service is not quick, food is quite regular. I belive there is a lot of better places in Propriano. Bad value for money

After a very long day driving all the way through the mountains from Bastia we ventured out to eat. This is one of many harbour side restaurants, all offering similar menus. The staff were friendly and the food very tasty well cooked. Can recommend the herb crusted fillet of St Pierre (John Dory). Only downside was the wait to pay... More

We were expecting better based on other reviews. The food was average, no set menus or daily specials on offer, so works out expensive enough for a family of four. The staff were civil, but not friendly. I wouldn't go there again.

Visited Restaurant L'Ambata 2 nights during our stay. I had the Moules Creme frits, the girlfriend had the duck. The mussels were of a good size, served up in a large pot with a tasty creamy sauce. My girlfriend enjoyed her duck, although a little disappointed in the lack of veg. Wasn't happy with the size of the Panacotta which... More

I had the John Dory fish on a bed of veggies. It was served with a delicious crust of pesto and cheese. I absolutely loved it. My boyfriend had the pizza which he really enjoyed too. A lovely restaurant by the port.

We were warmly welcomed for lunch by the young and friendly staff and were given a nice table with direct harbour views. I ordered a tartiflette and my wife mussels .We ordered two cokes for drinks and were given two small tins and large glasses , it would have been nicer if they had poured them for us. My wife's... On our first night in the area and we needed an evening meal. There's a good choice in Propiano, ranging in price from budget to moderately expensive. A few places were deserted at 2000hrs, others buzzy and full. We had the last table outside at L'Ambata. Soon there was a queue. The menu is varied, with pizza, pasta, salads and... More
