Eating a real pizza outside Italy is never easy and I usually avoid it but here they know how to make it. Very kind staff, smart waiters and the owner always present to look after his guests. Warm and welcoming place. And then there's Emanuel the pizza factor. From Bari to Calvi years making pizzas and it shows. We visited La Punta because of the many good reviews here; unfortunately I hadn't believed the bad ones beforehand - a mistake.
Our pizzas and all the pizzas on the neighboring tables had completely burnt black edges. They were generously topped, tasted rather bland, and were practically raw in the middle. We've eaten much better pizzas in Calvi. Spaghetti Carbonara was OK.
Service was extremely rude.

We just wandered in as it was close to our hotel. Simple, very friendly and it was perfect. Hard to find a bad pizza in Corsica. Staff were friendly and both our food were delicious with some nice local wine and my partner topped off the meal with a lemon sorbet. It was perfect for us for a simple dinner after so much walking and almost on the doorstep of our hotel.
