Stopped in at late notice on a cold wet day. The fire was going which was great. I had the 3 lil pigs pizza and my wife the caesar salad. Both good. Very few people on the day.

This is a good size pub/restaurant. Decent size. Friendly staff. Food is a hit and a miss depending on what you order. The Pulled Pork Burger is yum, same is their margarita pizza. They do decent steaks and chips, reasonable fish and chips... but word of advise is to stay away from the sandwiches.

Great pub food..Everything from Panko crumbed Schnitzel, steak, great burgers, fish, pies and daily specials..This Pub does it well. Food is super fresh, generous portioned and a great place for couples, families and groups. Fast bistro fare and always a treat... Other Pubs in the Hornsby and Pennant Hills area just don't have the goods. Keep up the excellent fare... More

Staple pub type food. The steaks are consistently good. Food is expensive compared to most pubs - must be up there in the top 10%. Service from the staff is friendly and unpretentious. We enjoy being regular visitors to this place.

We are regulars at the Blue Gum Hotel. We love the atmosphere, the food is always great & average priced. They have a separate menu for kids & a wide range of on tap beers & wine. Conveniently located on Pacific Highway & a block up from Waitara station.

Love the way they have renovated this place. The food is great, a bit above your normal 'pub' food. Service is good and love the open fire during the winter season...gives it a cosy feel.

It can be good grub when its right on the night. Burgers seem popular , still to try one. The Pizza is oh so nothing really. The steaks are great. Their salads can be hit and miss , lamb salad was great previously , had it again and so so . Can be a bit expensive depending on what you... More

A taxi was booked by reception an hour before I needed it. It never came as the short distance I needed to travel didn't generate enough money. Reception indicated this has been a problem before. The staff member volunteered to drive me to the venue. Very thankful and appreciative of their kindness and helpfulness. The room was clean, a tad... More
