Good food but overcrowded, limited parking, spotty service. Tried to serve us things that we didn,t order and that we would have had to pay for.

This is a place where you can consistently get good middle eastern food. The quality is good, the menu contains a large variety of dishes and the prices are reasonable. There is an option for take away. Very family friendly.

We are dining at this place for over 20 years. You always know what you get, they keep high and steady standards for many years- same dishes, same managements, same waiters. Try the humus, all the soups and kebab,

What a pleasent surprise, Village Steakhouse, or Stekiat Hakfar has been around forever, last time i was was there was 20 years ago - visiting now was a real treat. We ordered the magnificent house hummous with tahini and chopped liver (was lovely) for starters....The waiter treated us to obergene in vinegar - it was a 10 out 10 for me, an obergene hater, i truely enjoyed it. For mains we shared the house kebab, served with sides of mash potato and majadra (rice and lentils). The kebab is one the best kebabs i had in Israel, executed perfectly, massive portion. We had a lovely meal and we took some salads to take-away for the weekend. Prices are very reasonable. Many mains are in the 60 shekels area. The more expensive mains are at 80-90 shekels area. Most starters are set between 15-30 shekels depending on size and contents. I will most definitely come back.More
