Great food and drinks....especially when you consider the fact that you are out in the middle of nowhere. It's a true Oasis.

I wouldn't praise the food, which for 3 meals was just average, but the staff and atmosphere was marvelous. I had read previous reviews and I think they were too harsh. These folks do try and we kept going in while staying at Resort. Don't expect fine 5 star dining but for hardy golf course bar food it hits the... More

We ate here 4 times in the last two months. We were volunteering at Big Bend Ranch SP. We love the patio- a view of Mexico, Rio Grande, Big Bend NP We love the fajitas, margaritas, never had a bad meal. Dog friendly. Good to the dog. Staff friendly, well trained, personable and attentive. Long way to go but go.

We came for dinner during our stay. The food was very expensive and very average. $38 steaks ordered medium rare were served well done. Sent back and 2nd steaks were served medium well. So, don't order steak. The staff was great though, and management comped the steaks. The salsa is very good, as is the queso.

The Candelilla located in the "square" of the Lajitas Golf Resort, is a beautiful setting among the desert backdrop and the awesome landscaped greenery of the golf course and resort grounds. It's truly an oasis and a relaxing atmosphere with a decent selection of both Southwest and American cuisine on the Menu. It's Gold-course prices, however, so be prepared a... More

We had Fajitas and food was not good. The beef was not of good quality. Service was average. Not worth the visit. Rather eat somewhere else.

But not really good either. Surly waitress who was obviously unhappy that we had entered HER establishment. Food was overpriced ~~ even for "resort." Hamburger quite good, but catfish sandwich had absolutely no flavor except "frozen." Fries tiny and not hot. Recommend you drive to local restaurants; Long Draw Pizza and Rio Bravo both very good. Interesting and nice room... More

We ate there two times and found the food to be excellent. One waiter was much more attentive than the other, but all in all we would recommend it and would definitely eat there again.

We ate here on three different occasions and had a nice meal every time. No complaints at all. After reading some of the reviews we were a bit worried but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything we had. Great wait staff as well....will definitely be back!

Perfect salads were served here. On the menu one of the salads came with fried chicken but when I asked to substitute grilled chicken this was no problem. The salad was delicious with fruit and freshly grilled chicken. The raspberry vinaigrette was very nice as well. The service was perfect as well. Yes the food here is a little pricier... More
