Pretty good prices for a lakeside spot, with some tempting and interesting flavours. On the warm September when we popped in, I had salted pistachio, biscotto and caramel chocolate. Smooth, creamy and satisfying. Worth a visit.
We stayed for four days and visited every day! Got too be done
The ice-cream was by far the best I have ever had
Lots of flavours to choose from with friendly staff who were happy to translate and explain.
Enjoyed some peach and lemon granita from Vivaldi on a warm summer day. Staff were helpful with allergy information. Dark chocolate fondant gelato and stracciatella gelato were also delicious. Great location close to the water and ferry. Pleasant sitting outside.
We had spent the morning exploring Desenzano, which is a delightful place, less touristy and more authentic than Sirmione, and called in here for a much needed refreshment in the form of a tub with three scoops of their delicious ice cream from a great...selection which is difficult to choose from as they all look amazing.
My husband and I visited Vivaldi nearly 10 years ago during a holiday to Desenzano and ever since, we’ve talked about how good the ice cream was.
During a trip to the same area with friends and family, I couldn’t wait to see if Vivaldi...was still there and whether it was as good as I remembered. I’m pleased to say it was just as good as I remembered and I hadn’t dreamt it!
Huge choice of flavours, generous servings and really reasonable prices. I’ve tried ice cream in so many different places and none come close to this place!More
We had just returned from a trip out of town and needed to build up our strength for the rest of the day. Very near to the ferry boat stop we popped into this gelateria and had great difficulty in sticking to our 'no more...than two' flavour policy as there were so many to pick from. Eventually though we enjoyed our choice seated opposite the shop on the chairs and tables provided.More
