This is a charming bakery and Gelateria located in the town's main drag, Via Matteotti. I had to try a local favorite, called Ossi di Morto, "bones of the dead." It is a very crunchy, delicious cookie made from almonds. If you are not in the mood for a cookie, there are many selections of pastries and gelato.

We stopped in for coffee - which was excellent - and picked up a few tasty treats from the display case on our way out. So glad we did cuz we enjoyed them on our drive to Pisa - we should have bought more!!!

We went every morning to drink the best coffee and some pastry. Loved it. A lot of Italians come here.

Quick drink prior to dinner elsewhere. Nice small selection of savouries and what appeared to be barley prepared similarly to risotto. Probably better during the day as a cafe/sweet place but absolutely fine as a place for a drink in the evening, not quiet.

Tried to order simple hot chocolate for four of us 4 times before they remembered we existed. We are nice people and we greeted the waitress in Italian, so nobody can say we were some obnoxious tourists. We politely asked if we need to order over the counter or we have to wait at the table to be served. The... More

We stumbled into this place looking for some sweets after lunch. Their selection of baked goods is extensive. My wife is gluten free, and they even had a few selections for her. The baked treats that we sampled were some of the best I have eaten anywhere in Europe. Not just Italy. When we get back to Italy, we will... More

Great place for a cappacino, pastry and fresh squeezed orange juice with a modest fee. Early morning it's buzzing, but the wait is worth it!
