Cozy, crowded spot for lunch

We had a very nice time here - despite the other reviews. We sat in a cozy room with just three other tables. Service was fine and food was good. I liked the selection of veggies and my husband ordered a pizza that he said was good, not great, but good.

3 of us stopped by here for lunch. The place was empty. Service was typical italian slow. We got a bruschetta appetizer that was bland and expensive for what it was. Our pastas we ordered, 2 of the 3 came out and 3rd pasta dish didn't come out until at least 20 min later and other 2 guests were already... More

Food and wine are great ; good selection of cheese and the Fiorentina is very well prepared . Desert was not at the same level as the rest . Waiters are friendly, but there is not enough of them, so be prepaired for a slow service.

The service was very indifferent and the food just mediocre. The gnocchi was beautifully served on the plate but the spaghetti and sauce tasted like it was out of a can.

Worst food we had in Italy. Also the most expensive. Truffle pasta had no truffle taste. Uninspiring wild boar with unseasoned beans. Olives in pesto dip with dry and tasteless flatbread. House wine was ok. Don't go there.

I can almost write an essay about food served there, but to make it easy and simple, great combination of tastes, really suprised us. Each dish had a structure, concept and what was really important it is not just for 'stupid' tourists. You will be really suprised by the place and to add- normal prices. Highly recommended.

A large menu and excellent food with very fair pricing. Good local wines, fresh fish and lots of wild boar - a local specialty.

Visited here on 26 September 2015. After 40 minutes we still were waiting for the first course and decided to leave as it was evident that they did not have the capacity to cope. They had no idea of who had come in when and seem more concerned with a large group of Italians celebrating possibly a christening. The moral... More

We dined here as a pretty large group of about 15, on recommendation of our tour guide. The food was about the best we had on a two-week tour of Italy. Our family had the pasta boscaiolo (sp?) which was a creamy sauce with meat and mushrooms, pasta bolognese, and pasta arrabiata, as well as bruschetta pomodoro. Others in the... More
