My wife and I dined at Sa Bingia in July. There is only one set menu on offer: (i) meats, bread and cheese, (ii) a pasta sampler, (iii) house roasted suckling pig, (iv) fruit/dessert and (v) house wine.....all for for 32 euro. A meal like this in a major American city would easily cost over $100 per person. The highlights... More

Located on the outskirts of town, I would urge any foodie visiting Villasimius to experience this restaurant. It's a set menu for a set fee with 7 courses that all leads up to the suckling pig. It all kicked off at 8.30pm and most people arrive at the same time. The quality of the homegrown / local food is extremely... More

If you're looking for seafood, this is not your place. It's rather the restaurant of a farm in the countryside close to the town. Local cuisine, genuine products. Fixed menu, mixed charcuterie and cheese platter as starter, good pasta dishes and a very tasty suckling pig as main course. All very generous. Friendly service. Few bottled wines, better than their... More

Sa Bangia is a great agriturismo. It serves a fixed price dinner with the traditional Sardinian "maialino", aka "porceddu'. A piece of advice: don't overdose on appetizers otherwise you will have difficulty finishing your dinner:-) The food is great and the atmosphere is very warm. Totally recommended!

Well the atmosphere was only lacking because the place was not full but we were in the middle of a couple of Italian families who were out for a good time. When this place is full I reckon it rocks. Fixed price 32 Euros a head, seven cpurses including some amazing country dishes, kidneys, pasta Gnochiette filled with potatoes and... More

After we have had a great experience in another Agriturismo with fixed menu in the north of Sardinia (Le Terre), we were expecting something similar here but remained a bit disappointed. The food is very good, no doubt, particularly the pig and the home made pastas. The place though lacks an authentic "Agriturismo" feel and it appears more like an... More

It was a nice evening, not very special just a comfortable dinner with enough food and a reasonable price. 32 euro pp. A selection of local starters, 3 typical Sardinian pastas, Roasted pig, melon and dessert, a rough house wine (later saw there was also the possibility to buy a more traditional bottle) water, coffee and a mirto. Starters and... More

The resto is a bit out of the city centre and you need a car to get there. It is certainly not suitable for a romantic dinner "en amoureux" but if you are looking to sample typical Sardinian food served in an efficient, a la "wedding dinner" manner, and you are VERY hungry, this is a great value for money...
