Complimentary traditional tomato soup was lovely, followed by seafood spaghetti, carpaccio and Florentine T bone steak... Would recommend the montepulciano on the photos attached too. Restaurant and service excellent and would recommend you book in advance, as most tables reserved and seems to only have one sitting starting at 8pm. A good 4.5 stars and good value only reason not... More

We had one of the best meals of our holiday in Tuscany here. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is excellent. We both had steaks - cooked to perfection. We wish we had discovered this little gem earlier in our holiday!

My wife and I have been enjoying the wonderful cuisine and wines of Tuscany, in Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Torres Del Lago Puccini, and now Viareggio. The Amaro Braceria, in our view, may be one of Tuscany's finest restaurants. Our unforgettable lunch consisted of an exquisite bean soup flavored with truffle oil, followed by a roasted fresh sea bass and calamari,... More

Went here for dinner on monday evening. We called when the restaurant opened which was right choice as the restaurant was full all evening. We took starter, main and dessert. Both tuna and beef tartar can be warmly recommended. As a main we both took angus steak (350g) for 18€. That was also really good as rare minus. Wines were... More

This was our only meat restaurant in our stay in Viareggio and although the fish and sea food we had in the other Viareggio restaurants was amazing, if one was to go off piste, this was the place to go. Such good meat! We had the fillet which was cooked to perfection - as was everything else we had. Very... More

A great little restaurant away from the tourist traps on the front! A good choice of seafood and meats at a fair price , we had the tuna and pork for our main course and they were both cooked to perfection. Good choice of local wine, again at reasonable prices!

We have been to the top listed restaurants in Viareggio and for us, this was the winner. Great food, great service. Recommend the tuna tartar (starter) and the seafood carbonara.

Brace in Italian means embers and Braceria is a play on any food place ending in -eria. Modern, clean, reliable. You will be forgiven for thinking you are in Brooklyn or San Francisco. Grilled dishes are king here, with a bias towards meats. I'm my top 10 in Viareggio.
