Found the place by mistake walking in the evening in Tropea. I got attracted by the fact it was nothing fancy, people were eating outside and seemed very busy. We went and had to wait for a table. After a while we notices the majority of costumers were Italian so I thought this is it. The food is great, the... More

Excellent service, dining outside a very samll road or inside a medieval building. Pizzas are a bit thicker than normal, and very good. Prices very acceptable, not expensive. Recommended by several locals as well.

Situated in a narrow street and has the best atmosphere. The pizza's were fantastic and tasty. Family owned business which has been in the family for generations. Be prepared to wait for a table as they are so popular and busy but worth the wait otherwise go early. Ambience was great and dinner reasonably priced.

Great pizza in a nice, easy going atmosphere. Honest pricing as well: we ate 2 pizza's, had half a liter of wine (not good, but what do you expect for €3 ;)) and water for only €22. No fancy food, but just good pizza!

Just turn a corner and there it is. Family style set up as if you were having a picnic in your ally way . Enzo the waiter was so accomodating, considering there were lots of people waiting to get a table . It packed in minutes . I had pizza with mozzarella bufala and arugula and spek. It was so... More

Very good quality pizza(rustic style), Beautiful Location situated in a tangle of narrow streets of the old town. Shame that waiting for a table can become very upsetting as it seems who speak the loudest gets the table first.

Historic, quaint, nestled in an alley in the historic medieval downtown of Tropea (Calabria), this is one of several pizzarias in Tropea where anything anyone orders on the menu has to be good. It's ITALY! And this New York gal with ancestral roots in Naples and Calabria, thoroughly enjoyed the experience on a week's stay in July, 2016. In the... More
