No trip to Italy would be complete without sampling local ice cream or granita. Situated in the main street this lovely little cafe which has tables outside is not to be missed. A good place to go after dinner for a delicious selection and if the tables at the front are taken then they have a larger one across the... More

This is the best gelateria in Tropea. Old fashioned great quality ice cream. The pastries were also excellent and the staff were exceptional.

The family who run this are wonderfully warm and generous. We had such a lovely welcome every time from the mum, dad and son. They couldn't do enough for us, and everything we had was delicious, including the free snacks they kept giving us. We went back 3 times, such a lovely place and such lovely people! I love giving... Super friendly staff! Excellent location (perfect for a pitstop before you head for the panorama at the very end of Vittorio Emanuele corso). Best nocciola ice-cream I've eaten in Tropea, together with Frutti di bosco, yumm!! In addition, make sure you try the little muesli-like bars called 'brutti ma buoni', in one word => divine!! I went every day, during... More

In the hot Tropea a nice refreshing pit stop. Good gelato, we just got two normal "conno" take away for the kids.

Ask for the menu front page dessert, it's really good, I think the name is tartufo. The waitress that we ordered to was really friendly, the best waitress in Italy so far, I believe her name is Stephania. This cafe is well located in downtown. The staff speak English.

Simply the best coffee, the best gelato and the best cornetto in town. Have the tartufo. Superb! Great place for people watching after dinner and, again, best coffee bar for breakfast. Lovely staff.

I must admit. this has a perfect location, midway down the Corso Vittorio Emanuele ll. In the morning, it has perfect shade for that morning coffee and pastries for those who indulge. We went here our first morning and were served by the "older lady" (who we summised was the owner) and she was "perfect!"(Grazie). Lovely smile, courteous and helpful,... More

We were in Tropea for 5 days and the first night we discovered Caffe del Corso and have been back everyday after! The gelato is delicious but the wait staff, especially Francesca, made us feel like family every night we went! I cant believe anyone would have a negative word to say! Thanks Caffe del Corso!!
