I am a big fan of the "do it yourself" meals typical in the French mountains such as raclette, pierrade and fondue, are usually you need to book in advance for these dishes. This place has cleverly decided to concentrate only on these types of meals and subsequently avoid the whole reservation process. We called the restaurant mid-week on the... More

As a party, we had a mixture of dishes. The highlight for me was the Fiorentina. The food was excellent not a single thing to complain about. Every course was divine, the wine and beer matched the food too. Can not see why anyone would have a single word to complain about this place, as was treated first class. They... More

We had a great night at la Cioca. They have an impressive wine selection and it's the only place we found where you can have authentic raclette and fondue without having to make a reservation in advance. But my heart goes to the Fiorentina dish. A magnificent, succulent huge steak sizzling on a red hot rock right in front of... More

A special restaurant. They mainly serve the three dishes of the title. The menu has other possibly interesting dishes, but everybody, I reckon, goes there for the all-you-can-eat packages of Raclette and Pierrade. Tasty, abundant, and well done. Also teh fondue is very good. I haven't tried anything else in my two stays this winter season. As far as I... More

Amazing place in this area. Would say the best we could find in here. Would recomend to everyone. Unforgetable impression with all the traditional meals.

Everthing is brilliant, they were so welcoming, the Piemonte specialities were top notch and the grappa was fantastic. Definitely recommend the raclette!

Excellent food, good service. It was relatively quiet and 'intimate'. But there were quite a few other customers. I'm biased towards Italian food, so may not be entirely objective in my review.

All inclusive Alpine banquet. A spectacle and delicious with a free bus there and back. Awesome for grown ups and our kids loved it.

On the whole, our eating experiences in Sestriere were disappointing, as the few places where the food was good were all over-priced. In fact, we had to go a few km out of town to find our favourite spot. The cute village of Granje Sises is worth a visit in itself, but if you like traditional mountain food (fondues, raclettes,...
