Spectacular meal in this beautiful restaurant. The Tuna starter was the best quality I have had outside of Japan. The main courses were awesome and their take on a Magnus for pudding was genius. The service was impeccable. I would very much recommend visiting this...delightful resto if you’re in Sestri Levante.More

If you are looking for a great dinner, this is the right place. It's not a touristic trap but mouthwatering dishes in a fantastic and informal environment, 2 steps to the silent bay. Everytime a wonderful surprise.

We ate here for lunch and definitely enjoyed our meals. The plates were pretty and the food very tasty. I especially enjoyed the octopus ravioli. And my mom absolutely loved her dessert (called Oops I dropped my Magnum). We arrived later than we wanted, so...we were also the last to leave, and no doubt a nuisance to the staff. Be mindful of the extended break that many restaurants/shops take in the afternoon.More

Set up on trestle tables this is a atmospheric place to eat. Simple food done well. Visited twice with family. Inexpensive and tasty. Tables turnover quickly and no option to book in advance.

La Cantina del Polpo serves excellent dishes, which esthetically looks delicious on the plates as well. Very nice personell and great service. Great location and interior design that fits the look of Sestri. Outstanding experience.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal here last night. We had the tasting menu which was really good and at 29,50 we thought extremely well priced. The service from the team at La Cantina was faultless. Would definitely recommend

Wine list all right, atmosphere of a drinking taverna, food not recommended as a main object. Polpo Mario around the corner the place to go.

We visited after a few months since the previous time. Last time, our experience was excellent. It was a characteristic place serving excellent food. This time the menu was burdened with ethnic and oriental twists (why???) which seemed out of place and not particularly remarkable....Service was also over pretentious (despite trying to be classy). I often eat in great ethnic and oriental restaurants: this was so-so and should stick to premium Ligurian cuisine rather than exploring too much (or offer a special ethnic/oriental menu rather than mixing it with main dishes).More

So sorry that you find our menù ethnic and oriental... We've only an original ethnic, but ligurian menu, with some traditional plates and a few choice of typical recipes revisited with a bit of our touch, nothing else... We wait you again... you'll be surprised...More
