We happened on the Bellavista on arrival in Selva after a long trip. The menu was a bit upmarket for what we wanted but pizzas and pasta were ok prices. The pizza was good, proper base and toppings. The homemade lasagne (lasagna?) was simply amazing, the best melt-in the-mouth lasagne I have ever eaten. 3 stars plus one for the lasagne.

The spaghetti scoglio was really good, would love to eat it again.. But the service was the worse we have had in 15 years in Val Gardena region . Waiter was rude, used his hands to take the bread on to a plate.. and take our bread back to be served to other guests.. forgot to bring our wine The wine list was huge , but prices outrageous, There are many restaurant options in the village / region. We prefer to go to a restaurant where we feel welcome.

Terrible dinner. Very poor service, staff are unfriendly and quite rude. Very expensive cover charge which doesn’t include bread or anything apart from sitting down but food itself is average and very expensive. Food came at totally different times. Cold atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend.

I love doing good reviews but this time I feel fooled and I just can't! Walking through str Mëisules I saw this place and seeing great wine labels and not having planned anything we entered! Not being very hungry I ordered a mixed salad and a venison carpaccio! I honestly did not believe my eyes for the mixed salad. It seemed something left over from the other dishes and brought back to the table. I don't like to do such things but I called the guy at the tables and pointed out. The waiter was certainly embarrassed and apologizing took away my salad bringing some and another this time not mixed but only lettuce! The venison carpaccio was very dark laid on the bed of old rocket ruined as the same as the salad brought back. The chalice of wine spilled did not reach the curve of the glass! My wife ordered a leg (the only passable thing) accompanied by polenta also embarrassing! In all this the waiter cleaned the table in front throwing the crumbs of the customers who had left on the ground! No, that's not possible! And considering that being on social media requires maximum transparency I feel the duty to communicate this situation to all readers! Popped in for a pizza as our hotel (Oswald) was a bit too pretentious. And didn’t fancy what was on the menu tonight. What a find! I had a bruschetta to start and a pizza Diavola with onions and a soft egg. Absolutely delicious. Cooked really well, egg yolk was runny just as I like it, spicy sausage was divine. I’ve eaten pizza all over Italy and it was one of the best. And far and away the best meal of the week.

Stuck by the snow on September 12, we stopped at this place to eat something hot. The welcome from the hostess was very friendly. We had two "spaghetti" carbonara. Buonissimi!!! Then Beppe kept us company by telling us anecdotes dictated by his life experience. It's been a real pleasure. We really felt at home. And then his Neapolitan accent (the Amalfi coast) enchanted us. Unfortunately the holidays are over, but we will definitely return to Bellavista next year. Recommended.

Food was average to poor. Waiters were brusque and untidy. Tried a classic wine pricing tourist rip-off. Tried to sell us 19€ Redwine for 99€! Don’t be fooled.
