We had three outstanding dinners here during our seven day stay in Wolkenstein. By far the most authentic and well tasting food in town. Great fish - straight from the market and driven to the restaurant every day. Thanks!
We happened on the Bellavista on arrival in Selva after a long trip. The menu was a bit upmarket for what we wanted but pizzas and pasta were ok prices. The pizza was good, proper base and toppings. The homemade lasagne (lasagna?) was simply amazing,...the best melt-in the-mouth lasagne I have ever eaten. 3 stars plus one for the lasagne.More
We had dinner twice in December and two times perfect. The Carabineros as a starter were excellent and also the scallops are really nice. Huge wine list with excellent choices, fairly priced. Thank you Gerry for the great hospitality!
My family and I ate here this evening and it was very bland and quite expensive. Looks very cute from the outside but don’t be fooled
They charged us €4,50 to ‘split’ a plate of fish my wife and I shared which was literally two...fillets of burnt and tasteless Trout. And they made my son a bowl of pasta which was €9 and sucked, I make far superior pasta at home and I’m a novice cook at best. The waiters also hovered over us all night.
Weird vibe, bad food and too much money spent. Won’t return.More
Food was salty and tasteless, hugely overpriced (euro 30 for 2 hot dogs and fries) which we ordered for kids. Since it was not on the menu, they treated this basic stuff as special order. Waiters rather ignorant, should change shirts more often (unbearable bo)...Became quite rude when we started questioning items on the bill. They included an expensive item which we didnt order and explained that it covered the hot dogs.
We had lunch at Bellavista because it was close to our hotel. We ended up only ordering a soup and pizza because the food on other tables didn't look special. The soup was fine but plain. The pizza was very soggy, pieces drooping. Base not...special. My 13 year old asked what the service charge was for given the service. There are so many better options.More
That is the place that truly fits into my understanding of what italian restaurant is. The staff is really friendly - they will not only help you with your choice but also have talk to you, joke and take selfies. Señor Peppino and Claudio were...the people my family totally fell in love with. After the first visit you will feel yourself as if you are at home.
Talking about the food itself, Bellavista is not a luxurious place, but if you do not wish to were ties and only want to eat something that is home cooked, then Bellavista is a place you are looking for. Pasta with seafood, steak, ravioli with truffle sauce and ice cream as a dessert are "must try". And wine. A lot of wine and limoncella.
We were very disappointed with the service received by this restaurant. We tried to get in to eat 3 times and were turned away. No offer of at later table or suggestion that we should book. On principle we didn’t bother again.
Booked a table simply because passing and menu looked good - glad we did as when we returned in evening big queue and people being turned away. Great, informal atmosphere, very attentive service and good food. Highlight was being able to finish off meal with...16 year old Scapa whisky from Orkney!More
Today we were there and I just need to write a review.
They get 3 minus stars because:
-In restaurant doesn't smell good,
- stuff is to stressed
- instead of mozzarella on pizza I ordered parmesan and she gave me some stupid look
-...we paid for extra service (3€ for I don't know what)
And the last one is the main reason why I m writing this review.
2 stars because food was ok.More
