It has been 10 years. I still dream of this place! A must if you're in Savona. My good friend took me, I will never forget.

well you have to go there...it's a small place, family of three keep it going. You can buy the 'panissa' fried in soft bread rolls and it's hot and very good,no sitting, or you can buy it to cook at home, oil, onion, salt and pepper, side dish ,apetizer....typical Savona taste, quite different they use chickpeas flour.....

This is a simple place where you can get "Panissa" slices. These are slices chickpeas of fried chickpeas polenta. A great break in the historical center of the city. Locals love it.

It was very testy and irregular, especially after we found out what ingredients it made from. Definitely will try to make one at home for my guests!

I have been here long time ago. However, I do not think I shouldn't review this place as it exist for more than two centuries :) This review is aimed at tourists and visitors, as every single local knows this "Institution". First, forget the word restaurant and all that is implied (opening hours, for instance). This is an old friggitoria,... More

Traditional street food: very tasty! If you visit Savona, you must eat the traditional "panissa" with or without bun. An ancient traditional food in a typical place. Do not miss it!

I remember this little place, I've enjoyed the "fette" here since I was a kid....and they are still fantastic (not to mention the fact that they are really good value)! The place is tiny, they only do take away, but if you really want to try real "panizza" or lovely "frisceu" this isTHE PLACE

Once we were student that was our snack. Now still. From everywhere you are coming go there and taste "Focaccette con Panizza" Better if have chance to get some "Nostralino" wine together. And enjoy a walk through he historical part of the city belonging two Popes Sisto IV and Giulio II

A lovely speciality from Savona . Well worth trying as it is made from chick peas and for one euro seventy it is a good little snack and a change from pizza or pasta
