Mainly underground hotel-attached restaurant that reminds me of pre-1989 Eastern Europe: terrible decor, lots of staff, awfully low food quality. Just had one meal there which was overwhelmingly awful (sitting at a table of six friends - we all agreed). Carefully read the other tripadvisor reviews to understand what's going on. And ignore the management responses to bad reviews. It's... More

We dined with friends during a ski weekend this month and loved this restaurant. The food was outstanding. The lamb chops and lasagna were excellent. The ambiance is intimate and conducive to small or large groups, with individual, cottage-style dining rooms that make guests feel as it they are the only ones the staff is catering to. Service was outstanding,... More

The decor (lauded in previous reviews) is just weird. Plastic tourist tat and hunting memorabilia. The main course was tough meat, but the cheese fondue pretty tasty, made with truffles. Not the best, but ok.

Through Trip advisor we found this restaurant located in the hart of San Martino Di Castrozza.. It was incredible be dining in such a rebuild old house surrounded by original pieces of tools and furnitures which made the history of this area! Delicious food from the starters till the desserts! Very welcoming and knowledgeable staff! Must comeback!

We dined at this restaurant on the advice of the owners of the hotel where we were staying. Environment amazing. Plates of high standard, with unique flavors. The wine really good. Gianluca owner, made us feel at home. Definitely to be recommended. Smoking room available. Good restaurant for your evening in San Martino di Castrozza.

You will find a special atmosphere sitting in one of the small wooden sitting rooms. Local food tasty and nice, good selection also of tempting and tasting desserts. Good service.

Please be aware…terrible food which was cold and old and very poor service!!! I was very existed to have a dinner at La Canisela after reading all the reviews here. The venue looked amazing (very original and rustic). Menu is full of choices and it looks very promising. Unfortunately my food was cold and old and nowhere to be seen... More

the food and the service are just great. The location is really charming as it is surrounded by the amazing landskapes of the Dolomites. Plus, the restaurant itself is definetly worth a visit . We have tasted some great local dishes . We have travelled around Italy a lot but I have to say the quality of the food at... More

Description

formaggi, salami, carni affumicate..
