Very pleased with our visit to St. Hubertus. Service was flawless, but friendly and warm. Food and wines were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and would love to go back at a later time.

St. Hubertus is an exquisite dining experience. It is an experience! We ordered the tasting menu since this was our first time at a Michelin starred (2 stars) restaurant. We thought we would be served a taste a a few items from each course. Instead we were served almost full portions of almost every menu item. It was too much... More

Starting at the very beginning: we were staying at the hotel and one of our surprise "treats" was a visit to the St Hubertus kitchen to have a drink, a few hors d'ouevres and to meet the amazing Chef, Norbert Niederkofler. I was tongue tied (but managed to eat...). What an honour. Thank you for your time Chef. We then... More

This elegant restaurant offers an original cuisine inspired by the South Tyrol tradition by mainly using local ingredients. We had interesting dishes from the inventive amuse bouches to the snails, to the beetroot gnocchi with horseradish, to the beef and lamb prime cuts and the nice desserts. Excellent wine list especially of South Tyrol wines. Very helpful maitre while the... More

After reading all the 5-star reviews here, i'm feeling perhaps a bit of a philistine...we enjoyed our meal but a few caveats: * Food is very rich - they'd recommended 5 courses, we ordered 4 and couldn't finish. So bring your appetite! * Service was a bit rushed, which surprised me for a Michelin Starred establishment. The amuse bouches and... More

Every mouthful at this intimate Alpine restaurant is delicious, complex, flavoursome and beautifully presented. However, we found the service somewhat rushed and overly efficient, which actually resulted in a couple of mistakes. We felt rushed from the outset and felt it necessary to ask for a longer pause before the divine dessert. We congratulated the chef on his exquisite cuisine... More

This restaurant is out of this world. The sensational endless procession of flavours from amuse Boucher to the fourth and final desert will etch itself on you palate and memory A warm classical alpine room is the venue for a procession of dishes of potent flavours and local origins. Even the bread is baked for you after proving on the... More

Ambience is modern, comfortable and charming. Wait staff is helpful, friendly and attentive. Wine list is extensive and reasonably priced--featuring a good selection of local wines. The food is of the local tradition with modern updates and nice preparation. The kitchen is attentive to detail. Our salad ingredients tasted fresh picked, stock fish with gazpacho was excellent; grilled fish and... More

Extraordinary from start to finish. Service, setting, atmosphere, food and all that surrounds it. Yes, it's expensive, but it's an evening you'll never forget.

"The best things are the simplest things. But at the same time the hardest things to do."
Says Norbert Niederkofler and describes his cooking philosophy as simple, clear and clean.

The Restaurant St. Hubertus, whose name stands for the patron of the hunters, was opened in 1996.
At that time, the Pizzinini family decided to transform a small part of the then pizzeria into a tiny restaurant with Norbert Niederkofler as head chef.

Now it’s a two Michelin star restaurant with nine tables in the dining room, one chef's table with a view to the kitchen and one cosy table at the open fireplace directed by the Maitre & Sommelier Christian Rainer.
