Good selection of cheeses and hams, food quality May a bit expensive for what we receive but I cannot complain about flavour. All very tasty. The waitress very happy to teach you all about local delicacies.

Wanted to write enough to just simply say that the visit and cheese/meat platter here was superb. 100minimum characters.
It started to rain so we sat down in the nearest place that looked like a cafe and had shelter. We totally lucked out. Not mega cheap but really tasty. We shared a 4 meats and 10 cheeses platter. Had a pudding. Had the pudding....Think they only offer one. Ricotta honey pistachio and cold pressed chocolate superb.. Staff were great. mum and dad run the shop I think. Multilingual. Recommend. Bottled artisanal beers.More
We got there by a accident and this was our lucky day! This is why we are traveling to Italy to eat delicious aperitivo, drink wine served local charming people. Initially we wanted to grab some some appetizers but we have spend lovely 2 hours...there tasting amazing cheese and meat, finished with extraordinary and simple BUT sophisticated desert which you can’t skip for sure! Enjoy your time there, we are already jealous. You will experience this atmosphere of Italian dolce vita! Please, please, please do not miss this place when you are in Ragusa ;)More
Superb quality meats and cheeses all lovingly and precisely explained by friendly and charming staff. We only wanted a light lunch to not spoil dinner but I could have spent hours there with them just bringing more food and excellent local wines. Its a bit...cramped outside with the tables but honestly get past it and enjoy. One of the highlights of my holiday.More
We had a delicious cheese and meat dinner in this lovely little place. The lady who served us was very nice and showed us all the food she served us.
Great selection of cheeses and fresh meats. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. They make a great sandwich. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch or a snack.
As the terrace of this restaurant is directly at the most busy street in Ibla,I would not recommend it for a first date. For food the concept s very simple. For 20 € you do get a large platter with a lot of salami and...cheese, an explanation what is what and then you enjoy. Of course with the cheese it can be a hit and miss but all in all a large portion topped with reasonably priced wined a lot of entertainment looking at the passers by.More
This quaint little salumeria is a brilliant place to enjoy lunch or dinner. We enjoyed a platter for dinner with a glass of wine. Enjoyed trying all the different salamis and cheeses and would definitely recommend to try! The price was great too, at just...€20 for a platter. The only down side is that they do not speak any English at all, which was a little frustrating as we didn't know what some of the products were.More
An excellent place for a late afternoon snack. Very well received and an extraordinary Sicilian cheese and salami tasting. I recommend!
We chanced upon this wonderful salumeria one evening while looking for a place for dinner. There was a group of people having a meal inside along with a guide who was introducing the various cheeses and their history. We were intrigued, started chatting with the...owners and ended up having a delightful meal here. The cheese and ham platter was simply divine with thoughtful wine pairing. They have a wide selection of cheeses and salami and you can’t go wrong with their recommendations. The pecorino al Nero d’avola is a must try - pasteurised sheep milk cheese matured in Nero d’Avola wine. The shop is run by a lovely elderly couple. Do not miss this place when you’re in Ragusa.More
All kinds of local food products that you want to taste, available in one charming place. Highly recommended for tasting and buying edible souvenirs.
We went there by chance as it was close to our B&B and WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE. We sat outside the place which looks like a small delicatessen shop with a wide variety of local cheeses and hams and the two friendly owners ready to...explain everything about their products. We asked for a tagliere of only cheeses, without specifying which ones, and what we got was incredible. They prepared a tasting platter made of cheeses from Ragusa (eg cheese with Nero d’Avola, saffron cheese, variety of goat cheeses) accompanied by two glasses of Grillo wine (which the lady at the counter chose herself). Also we finished with an incredible desert of ricotta, pistacchio di bronte and cioccolato di Modica which was created by them. Delicious!! Highly recommendedMore
In between Montalbano locations spotting we needed a quick pit stop for a coffee and thankfully chose this place. When we realised it was a delicatessen selling locally sourced cheeses and meats we abandoned our plans to skip lunch and ordered a platter of salamis...and cheese for 2 What arrived was a wide selection of cow, sheep and goats cheese and 4 different salamis including wild boar and donkey (yes I did mean donkey) So many amazing flavours to chose from it is hard to say which was our favourite but the pistachio cows cheese and the truffle cheese were exceptional. Staff were very friendly given an explanation of what we were eating. Would highly recommend if you are in this areaMore
We had a lovely time in Salumeria Barocco. We shared a plate of different cheeses and Salumi, quite tasty and diverse. We asked for a recommendation of a red wine and were served a glass from a local ecological wine. We really enjoyed it so...ended up buying a bottle. Looked like a family business run by a nice couple. Worth a visit!More
