The pros : traditional Italian food, delicious dishes. Special mention to the Parmigiana and Tagliatelle di Gamberi. Wine of the house is cheap but good. The cons : very busy during the weekend, call to reserve in advance. Deserts weren’t as good as the rest...of the mealMore

Giorgio and his brother are an authentic neighborhood restaurant serving high quality meals that make your tummy happy! The caponata is outstanding, tastes like my Nona’s. Service is pleasant and appropriate for the type of casual dining experience. The pastas will make you smile and...top off the meal with homemade Limoncello. Tutti bené!More

A gem place in the midst of a residential area. Good homemade food, hospitable staff and pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed a delicious hearty meal with good recommended wine, all at reasonable prices.

Fantastic traditional food, great service, and reasonable prices I really loved everything about this place. I also had a chat with the chef over a nice glass of limoncello liquor and I could tell she really puts true passion into her dishes. Easy to find...free parking around. Highly recommendedMore

Away from the centre of Ragusa, this was a great find. Pork and sausage stew like “mama used to make”. Very helpful staff and homely environment. Will definitely be back soon.

We went based on the positive reviews here and were quite disappointed. Unpleasant bright lighting and we were not offered a table outside—they were all empty even though it was a pleasant evening. Very disappointed—the meal was just OK. Nothing special. I’d say don’t bother.

Went at appointed time and were shown to a table which was squeezed in by the kitchen entrance and about three feet from the toilet door. We asked to be given a different table of which there were plenty but they refused. So we got...up to leave as we got outside we were asked to wait 10 minutes as a new table would be arranged for us and we were offered drinks whilst we waited. Meanwhile other diners arrived and were able to choose tables both inside and out as they pleased. No doubt these were regular clients. Half an hour later we left.More

Stumbled on this place when we couldn't find a pizza joint and were pleasantly surprised. The food is very traditional, seasonal and affordably priced. Can't wait to go back!

It’s a small, simple, cozy trattoria that cooks excellent Sicilian dishes. It’s family run with a small tasty menu. We ate here twice in row as we liked the food and service very much. It’s perfect when you are staying in the nearby hotel Artemisia...Resort and have a car. It’s just a 10 minutes drive and lots better than the Monalisa restaurant the hotel recommends. After staying in Sicily for 3 weeks and eating at divers restaurants, Al Casareccio is on our top 3 list. Definitely a recommendation!More

This was our fourth visit to Trattoria Al Casareccio. As the weather has turned cool, their front patio is not in use. Therefore, reservations are recommended. The restaurant is frequented by locals, which is something we always note as a positive sign. The atmosphere is...simple but charming. The menu changes based on what is fresh and in season, with pork being a featured item. Service is very good and staff are friendly and welcoming. We speak Italian, but if you don't, they speak enough English to explain your choices. Parking can be an issue but don't let that stop you from visiting this authentic Trattoria.More

This is a great little restaurant that has a bit of everything. My wife and I asked for a table outside which was pleasant. We had a bottle of prosecco which was great value along with an antipasto mix. All of the good was cooked...to a great standard and was all very tasty. I would recommend to anyone.More
