The food at this restaurant is delicious. Very friendly staff and great service. Portions are good. Definitely worth a visit.

My family and me (a party of 7 including a toddler) stumbled by accident into this restaurant while visiting Ragusa Ibla … and what a pleasant accident. Although they were noticeably short staffed in that Thursday night while were there, they really ran the extra mile to keep us well served. Out of every restaurant we’ve been in Italy since... More

We chanced upon this place, when others were closed out of season. We sat in the courtyard, with flowers and lemon trees. I had pasta con sarde, excellent.

My brother and I were staying for 1 night in Ragusa and found this restaurant on Tripadvisor. Although it had good reviews, I was a little skeptical because of the 20% discount that was offered if you booked online through Tripadvisor. Would you really get the discount? How good could they be if they need to offer a 20% discount?... More

Myself and my family stopped here for a late lunch and ate a simple but delicious lunch. The owner was most welcoming and the glasses of house white also excellent. Probably the best meal of our holiday. Good value too!

We had a great dinner at Federico II. Pasta con le Sarde was delicious, pasta was Al dente and roasted tuna was soft and tasty. The staff was very kind and they looked after us giving advice and explaining recipes in a poetic way. I definitely recommend it for a nice dinner. Danilo

Sicily in July is always going to be hot, but when the locals are complaining about the heat you know it really is hot. Stopped here for lunch today and we're treated, both by the attentive service of Guiseppe and by some really simple tasty traditional italian cooking. Great recommendation of the Moretti Malti as well. Food was excellent, pappardelle... More

I had been told that this Gellatoria is the best possible but, whilst I agree it serves a good quality product and is the best I have found in the region, I still rate the others I have reviewed in past as better (Ponza for location, Rome and Bologna for quality). It is worth a visit and, as I said,... More

Firstly, the waiter is pretty cool. The music is a little bit on the cheesy side, but it kind of works. Then there is the decor: look out for the faux drawbridge come fish pond. This slightly gothic atmosphere is more that compensated by the seriously good food. We happened on this place by chance on our first night in... More
