Delightful restaurant in a quieter piazza to the side of the main piazza in Ragusa Ibla. The parmigiana was a highlight: easily the best we’ve had anywhere.

Very friendly and efficient service, we enjoyed the food very much - especially the ravioli filled with sweet ricotta with a pork/tomato sauce and the pasta alla Norma. We didn't have reservations but went early and were able to get a table outside both times....Very busy due to the long holiday weekend. Make a reservation or go early.More
We had dinner here one of our nights in Ibla and enjoyed the experience. The team is very friendly and helpful. We had the house caponata, pork pasta, and pasta in bag special. All very good and in particular the bag special. Then place has...a nice ambience and again the team is super. Recommend!More
Loved this restaurant! Wonderful atmosphere. House wine in carafe was very good. Delicious pasta. Great service. Highly recommend .
We came here upon the recommendation of our B&B host but were disappointed by the quality of the food. The rolled pork was a bit rubbery and my pasta dish did not have enough flavor. Also, the mix salad was mostly Radicchio,
Situated just off the main piazza, we were attracted by the small menu as it's nearly always a good sign that the food will be a little more thoughtful. It's a quiet spot with tables outside and the service was friendly and efficient. We started...with pasta in a simple cheese and pepper sauce, followed by some incredibly tasty meatballs and a veal stew. All very tasty. Would happily return!More
Grazie mille, thank you very much for a wonderful lunch consisting og your famous meat balls and bietole. Really tastefull! Also thank you for a top service in your cosy restaurant.
Nice selection of local dishes at very reasonable price. Friendly & helpful staff. Lively atmosphere, outside seating available.
Local cuisine done very well with friendly service. Ask about the specials for the day. They’ll help you with your Italian but don’t worry they’ll explain the food in English!
Stopped here for lunch and discovered we had picked an excellent little trattoria. It was busy when we arrived, so we sat inside. The service was welcoming and the food very good. We had the pasta Norma, the orange and fennel salad and the mixed...vegetables.More
Wet night in Ragusa found us going to this restaurant which, unlike the hours down by TA was only opening at 19.00. Everyone we met was brilliant from letting us know it would be 20 minutes before opening but took our names to the gracious...arrivederci! Special mention of the lovely girl who explained the menu (in Italian only) and specials. The meal consisted of well cooked local food and to me was pleasant and to herself very enjoyable. With a carafe of wine and a bill of less that 50 Euro it did its job and represented great value. We were first in but within 30 minutes the interior was full so I would very much suggest a reservation is called for!More
Located in one of the backstreets off the main tourist thoroughfare, this is a charming little restaurant with friendly and attentive service. As vegetarians, we had more than a few choices and enjoyed the pasta very much. A good find in Ragusa!
La Bettola is a little off the beaten track, which is maybe why it's a lot better value for money than most restaurants in Ragusa. The food is excellent, I loved the meatballs, and the house wine is good too. Nothing fancy, but very tasty...home cooking. We came here twice, it was so good. If you haven't booked, get here early as the place is packed by 7:30. Highly recommended.More
Very good food with a fair price, just in the middle of the historic center of Ragusa. the food served was Sicilian traditional and it was very tasty and large enough portions/ The staff was efficient and quick. Recommended.
We actually went here by mistake our B and B host had suggested some places to eat and one was next door to this and it was only when they brought us the bill with their name on it I realised I had got muddled....Anyway I was pleased because this was the nicest meal we'd had so far after a week in Sicily. Pasta...I had a lovely sauce with anchovies and lemon it was delicious and a change from very samey pasta dishes everywhere else...and my partner's was yes a tomato based sauce but with nice vegetables and tasted really good. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions and have a bit of chat as I tried to speak Italian. It got busy...other tourists but lots of Italians maybe locals and lots of families. I really liked it.More
