Remarkably slow service. It actually took one hour after arrival to get food, bread came simultaneously. The caponata tasted fizzy, like old coleslaw. The pasta was cooked to be very mushy., far from al dente. The wine was nice, servers were nice. Vibe was nice....Clearly there are some things to improve.More

We had a pleasant evening meal at Last Bettola, make sure you book in advance as it is very popular. Local Sicilian cooking, like nonna style. Good pricing, excellent service.

We had a pleasant dinner at Last Bettola, prices are reasonable, good, not fancy but typical local Sicilian cooking. This restaurant is busy so make sure and book ahead. Service was pleasant, and waited speaks English if required. Good quality food and local wine were...enjoyed.More

Ate here 3 times during our weeks stay and it was lovely! It is set just a short Niall from the main plaza and is not open Mondays. We had Dinner here on all occasions and you have to book. It was some of the...best Sicilian food that we ate, great anti pasta dishes, first and second courses, i had the veal steak several times and my wife the lamb and chicken. The menu is small and there is always a specials board. Outstandingly good quality home cooking! Prices were very reasonable bordering on cheap in comparison to other restaurants but much better quality! Beer and wine again was very well priced, large beer 3 euros and half litre of house wine 2.5 euros. Staff were excellent and very friendly. You must try it (but book in advance!)More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the lady at our hotel. It was very busy with locals but we managed to reserve a table the day before. The owner didn’t speak much English but his son was very helpful in booking us in and...ordering our food the following evening. The menu contains meat and vegetarian choices- but no seafood which was exactly what we wanted being inland anyway. We found the meal to be one of the best and also one of the cheapest in our 2 weeks in Sicily. We had 2 antipasti, 2 secondi and 2 sides followed by 2 desserts and complimentary limoncello. Including half a litre of house red, a beer and sparkling water the bill came to around €40. Meals were not large but we were pretty stuffed!More

We just ate here....... it was amazing, the food was delicious. Shared a baked cheese dish, then shared a pasta dish followed by two main course with two side dishes. Plus wine and a large beer - came to 38€...... unbelievable.....& so delicious. What an...amazing way to spend your last night here in Ragusa Ibla. You must book, we booked the night before and saw them turn away so many people tonight! Well worth a visit!!!!More

We ate her our first night in Ragusa Ibla. Our hotel recommended it. It took us a little while to find it as it is not on the main street from the Duomo plaza. It was a Sunday and they were open for lunch so...we were able to make a reservation for that night. It's a small family owned restaurant. It has maybe 10 tables. The food is simple, yet tasty It's home cooking. We started with an antipasto, then I ordered a spicy pasta dish. The sauce was so light, the flavor intense. My husband also had a pasta dish and a dish of pork chops. Everything was delicious The prices were more than reasonable. Our meal was so good we ate here 2 nights later.More

Recommended by our hotel. Just a small family run place, no frills. Make a reservation. A small menu mainly pasta dishes. I got a dish of spaghetti with marinara sauce and some shaved ricotta on top. My wife had a dish of pasta with spicy...marinara sauce. I added a second course of lamb chops. We had a 1/4 carafe of wine. $28 euro's. Just simple dishes of fresh pasta, flavorful and piping hot. The lamb chops were small and very good. If you want to relax and have a nice tasty inexpensive meal stop by this family restaurant we did twice. You won't be disappointed.More

Reservations essential. We never saw this restaurant without a 'sorry we're full' sign outside. I imagine this might be a favourite amongst the locals. We had a two course meal with a glass of wine for about €10 a head. The menu isn't extensive and...the choices are all traditional classics, but cooked very well.More
