We went here as it featured in the to show and we wanted to see it. We had a very warm welcome and a very good meal of anti pasti, then grilled seafood and also swordfish. It was rather quiet in there but the food was very good as was the service and we enjoyed seeing the Montalbano wall with... More

Our driver recommended this restaurant and we liked it. The pasta dishes were great. I also liked my grilled lamb chops and almond parfait. The personable waitress does not speak English and there's no English menu, so get your Google Translate ready. We didn't get to sit in the garden terrace for lunch. Price for 3 persons including a bottle... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here and had great service. The waiter accommodated our meager Italian language skills and made us feel welcome. The food is quite authentic and the place was very busy.

We arrived here on a cold wet November night and were immediately made welcome. Our hotel was just around the corner but nevertheless it took us a while to find this restaurant. I had heard that it was a 'Montalbano Must-See' but I didn't recognise it, probably because my memory of the restaurant in the TV series is of a... More

A little hard to find as it's down a short cul-de-sac off the Corso XXV Aprile, near it's end at the Giardino Ibleo. As you enter you find a quiet courtyard laid with tables and further inside a charming rustic restaurant where the delicious smell of cooking hits your senses. We walked past it a couple of times before finding... More

Quick and available service, scrumptious food indeed. Reasonable priced, we especially enjoyed the seafood mixed starter and the pasta dishes, both pasta with sarde and pasta with tonno. The mixed grill was good as well. The waiter was polite, available and extremely fast.

We had lunch on the lovely terrace and had a two primi piatti, strozzapreti alla contadina and caviati with ragu, both very good. The house white was a fresh local Inzolia. The service was very kind and attentive, the terrace is especially peaceful for a relaxing lunch.

If you are walking up from the bottom of Corso XXV Aprile it is half way up on your left hand side down a small dead end side street. We walked in a got a table for lunch - but it wasn't busy because now it's not tourist season. Staff friendly, food good (and I'm a picky eater), not too... More

You'd be hard pressed to stumble across this gem - it's down a particularly uninspiring side street, away from the centre of Ragusa. We went as an alternative to the fiendishly expensive (and apparently pretentious and overrated) Duomo which our other friends opted for. Despite the alley it sits on this is a very pretty place. There's a beautiful court... More

Whilst following in the footsteps of Inspector Montalbano, we followed the TV series to Ragusa Ibla and to A Rusticana. Used in many shoots it is an actual restaurant in Ragusa Ibla that is a little tucked away but a really wonderful meal...superb pastas and local dishes in a wonderful setting... I wished I didn't have to drive away afterwards... More
