Top quality SE Sicilian food and a limited but good wine list. Service suddenly became swamped and slowed up until reinforcements arrived but this led to quite a hiatus. A 3.5 if we were allowed half marks Tables outside are attractive but a bit too close to the traffic fumes for comfort - it's on the main Ibla "cruise route"

This is undoubtedly a nice restaurant, bu neither my wife nor I found the food to be worth the higher price, nor the service very good. I had a ravioli which had an unknown meat in it (possibly rabbit?). I have a microfracture of a premolar, and so am very careful about biting on a surprise bone. And I did,... More

The tuna I had was delicious and some of the best fish that we had during our trip to Siciliy. The restaurant is a restored storage area with a vaulted roof. The service was excellent but the restaurant somehow didn't have any atmosphere. It was too quiet. However the food is obviously the thing in a restaurant and I would... More

Had the most beautiful sword fish here. This fish is served in most restaurants in the area but this was the best I had. I was also served a lovely free appetizer of sweet oranges in a dressing which was so delicious.I also tried the fresh pasta with vegetables which was a delicious first pate. The white wine was really... More

Friendly family restaurant with generous servings and Etna Bianco (Barone Villamarche) for €16 per bottle ! The degustation was €25-30 and worth it if you're peckish.

We found this restaurant, on a street off the main artery. The terrace was busy but due to the heat of the day, we chose to eat indoors. Lovely stone room in the back. We chose the menu, one meat and one fish. The food was delicious! Between courses, there was a bit of a wait, but welcome due to... More

We went on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was surprisingly unbusy. For much of the meal we were alone in a cavernous room. The food was well cooked and presented. Nothing was outstanding in the set menu. Mussels featured in two courses which was a little odd. Main courses were simply and nicely cooked especially the grilled swordfish. This... More

Just around the corner of the Duomo, this Osteria mentioned by SlowFood. Not expensive, good choice of wines and food from inland - sea. Really loved it!

On my last visit to Sicily I was deeply disappointed to find this restaurant closed as it had been recommended to me by a good friend! This time were here together and made our way back to Ragusa Ibla hoping for better luck - and what luck we had. We pooped in for lunch on a beautiful summer afternoon and... More

A different and interesting menu - the food was fantastic, ditto the wine. The venue is lovely as well - we sat outside and watched the world go by.
