Here to agree with all the glowing reviews. The arancini are amazing, and the service is great. And at euro 3.50 each, you can't go wrong. We had chicken curry, carbonara (with spaghetti in it!) and potato/ham/smoked provolone. All delicious!

As part of our Sicilian holiday, we were determined to eat the same arancini loved by Inspector Montalbano, followed by delicious cannoli. This very basic eatery did not disappoint as they served the best arancini we've ever tasted. We tried a number of varieties& all...were exceptional. No wonder Montalbano loved them. As a complete surprise to my wife, I ordered some cannoli and again we were not disappointed. Fabulous Sicilian food, served simply and real value for money. EAT AT THIS PLACE, IT'S SO GOOD!More

Traveling through Sicily and after touring Ragusa, we decided to have lunch here. I ordered two different Arancine, the Pollo al Curry (Chicken and Curry ) and the Pistacchio (cooked ham, mozzarella, pistachio, cream, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, salt) not knowing how big they...were. Having become a big fan of arancines on my Sicily trip, these were the best that I have eaten in two weeks of traveling the island! They are made in house to order (no sitting on a shelf to be rewarmed.) They are large, full of ingredients and fried to perfection. We were helped by Concetta who could not have been more helpful, patient and spoke great English (a big help for these tourists.) A must stop if you are in Ragusa.More

These arancini were just about perfect, with a dozen or so options -- a wider variety of tastes than we'd expected. Lovely little spot right on the square in front of a park on the edge of a gorge. What else do you need?

During our visit to Ragusa Ibla we noticed this tiny bar/ restaurant with terrace near the Gardini Iblei. We ordered arancini with different stuffings for lunch. They were freshly made, presented in a classic wooden box, and very delicious. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Like many other reviewers, I really enjoyed this small cafe. What’s not to like? The arancini rice balls were fresh and flavorful. With a savory arancini, we had a Sicilian brewery’s IPA that had a hint of citrus. Prices are right, €3 to €3.50. for...a large rice ball, and €6 for a craft beer or a glass of wine. Our server was prompt and friendly. On a square close to the gardens, the view, children playing, and people enjoying a sunny day added up to great lunch.More

This is a street food cafe serving two Sicilian specialities of arancini and cannoli. The food is tasty and good value and the restaurant is in a pleasant square just next to the Giardino Ibleo. Very helpful and friendly owners who explained all the fillings...to us.More

Who would have thought that this simple restaurant would provide one of our favorite meals? After walking through Ragusa Ibla, we wound up at this Rick Steves approved restaurant right near the entrance to the garden. Riccardo, the host, was lovely and spent a lot...of time chatting with us. He even called a taxi for us. We lingered in the shade over a couple of bottles of local white wine. The menu os dead simple. We sampled a variety of rice balls- the ragu, vegetarian and mushroom varieties were all excellent. We shared a few excellent cannolis and espressos to round out this excellent experience.More

5 out of 5. Most probably the best arancine that I had so far. Once the perfectly crispy breadcrumb coating is opened, one will taste a filling that was cooked with love and care. Seasonal fresh ingredients make it on the menu. Indeed, the swordfish...with aubergine was to die for. Also, great beer selection both commercial and artisan. Staff super nice too and knowledgeable about their products. Highly recommended.More

Stumbled across this place because it looked cool and like a beer place. The craft beer selection is excellent. Loved the Bruno Ribadi IPA and chocolate stout. Turns out they also do arancini and WOW. Best so far on the trip. The pistachio one was...fantastic! Oh tans the staff is great.More

An excellent choice of traditional and innovative Sicilian street food: La Cantunera in Ragusa is one of the best places for arancinas and cannolis. And don’t forget to taste the Polara’s “Mandarino verde”: a refreshing soda with the typical Mediterranean agrumi’s flavour.

This super-casual place served one of the best meals we had on our month-long trip to Sicily. They only make two things, arancini (fried, stuffed rice balls, a Sicilian specialty) and ricotta cannoli, but both were the best versions of these we’ve ever had. The...arancini come stuffed in about a dozen different ways. The 4 types we tried were all fantastic. Friendly, excellent service too.More
